Wish someone told Hearn that before he criticised previous tests.

Class from Hearn there. He absolutely ripped into Ben Shalom.

Are you having a laugh? Can you genuinely not see the hypocrisy in Hearn moaning about drug testing despite trying his best to get Benn in the ring after 2 failed tests? Is your obsession with Matchroom literally that deep that you’re blind to it? Come on mate.

Haha bet Benn vs Eubank has no VADA testing, Edward always says things that come back to bite him

Of course it will. The only promoter in the UK ready to put his hand in his pocket is Hearn.

Not forgetting eubank would demand it.

Zero chance of that happening. It'll be the most tested fight in history and Eubank should watch every single thing he eats and drinks from now until a few days after.

Or he just played by the rules. Believe it or not Eddie Hearn doesn't make the decision on whether Connor Benn can fight or not.

It doesn't not matter how much Hearn wants Benn to fight as it isn't up to him.

Considering how much Shalom had to say after the Benn v Eubank saga he is now looking pretty ridiculous.

Joshua v Whyte and Joshua v Miller were cancelled quick enough after failed tests but Hearn claimed he couldn’t cancel Benn v Eubank. He protects his interests.

I think Matchroom are being clever with how public they are regarding rival UK promoters having no drug testing on their shows. Ben Shalom must be struggling to sleep thinking about what he’ll say when he is interviewed. At least he answers the questions unlike Warren who will only do an interview with a small number of interviewers.
Joshua owned the show in both instances so it was easier to deal with. Maybe Hearn could have cancelled it, I don’t know enough about what can and can’t be done, but it’s clear that the Board were taking their time making a decision. Again fairplay to Hearn for not staging the fight under a foreign commission like Warren did with Luxembourg.

That was because Chisora and Haye had a fight at a press conference, not because any of them failed a drug test.

Eubank looked a different fighter to the first fight. Dumbos magic feather no doubt.

What about when Hearn took Ellie Scotney off an undercard because Chantelle Cameron didn’t like her trainer, who ‘owned’ the show then?

He picks and chooses when he can cancel/move fights.

Think it’s crap tbh. Shalom is a young kid starting out trying his best and Hearn was basically telling slobbery Koogz yesterday that he’s going to keep slating him on camera every other day. Then again I guess bullying comes naturally to Hearn, he was bad for it in school.

I reckon Hearn is jealous Shalom’s UK shows do more viewers than his.

It was because one was a sole matchroom promotion the other was a joint promotion with Wasserman. Matchroom could not cancel the fight as as of Thursday he was according to the board still licensed to fight. Therefore Wasserman/Eubank could have sued for the full loss of earnings if they wanted the fight to continue (which they did) as Matchroom could not or did not have grounds to cancel without their consent
