Has anyone else changed their mind on the outcome of Beterbiev vs Bivol

Good post. Myself, I think the older and stiffer Beterbiev gets, the better Bivol's chances.

Crawford beat a drained shell of himself Spence who had a grand total of 1 fight in almost 3 years. And that one fight came a year before fighting Crawford against a 35 yo pillow fist Ugas who 1. Almost knocked him out and 2. Should have lost to Pacquiao

Spence being drained+ having brain damage+struggling to make weight + inactivity = compromised fighter

Crawford beat a compromised fighter.

He didn’t beat a prime top of his game opponent. This wasn’t the Spence Vs Crawford we have wanted to see years ago.

Crawford should not be getting so highly credited just because he beat “Spence” - you’ve got to take into account the condition of the opponent. In the case Spences condition was trash.

It frankly says a huge deal about many “boxing fans” intelligence given how much praise is being given to Crawford

 

I think the longer this fight doesn't happen the more it favours Bivol. Some people are doubting Bivol's resilience but I don't see why; the only vulnerability he has shown is when he dropped his guard and took a shot flush from Joe Smith Jr at the bell; given Smith Jr is extremely heavy handed, and Bivol recovered relatively quickly, that should count in Bivol's favour if anything. Otherwise Bivol has shown pretty flawless stamina and punch resistance, and his speed, footwork and boxing ability will allow him to pick up the rounds against Beterbiev. Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if Bivol ended up winning by stoppage.

I just read today that Artur wants to unify & then go up another weight class, in that case if he doesn't get him after the Smith fight then he should just leave Bivol be, as Bivol & his team clearly have not wanted the fight for years now, no point in waiting around any longer & age out some more so that everyone can crown him as being superior than you when that's not the truth.

Problem for Bivol is his high guard was great against the ginger midget but Berterbiev will still hurt you through a tight guard. He has to box and move for 12 solid. It will be a great fight.

 

if beterbiev didnt have crazy power, then it would have been a clear win for bivol regardless of age.

 

This & Fury Usyk are the two biggest fights in boxing .. shame they wont happen
