Out with the heavyweights in the country , is he the only guy you could justify being PPV with the right dance partner?? I don’t even agree with him being PPV but I’m not having guys like Connor Benn as a stand alone PPV star
How many buys did he do against Liam Smith in both fights? He’s the biggest name in the UK outside of Fury and Joshua that’s for sure, followed by Conor Benn.
Hopefully GGG stays retired. He’s had a hell of a career, earn’t loads and doesn’t need to be boxing crappies like Jnr.
Many viewers don't these days as the numerous subs to watch sport, the bang average Box Office events at £20 to £30 has resulted in people increasingly turning elsewhere to watch live sport.
Yes pretty much. The Benn fight is huge and as long as that fight is competitive you basically have two huge ppv fights with Benn v Eubank and a rematch.
My criteria is a meaningful fight at world level, probably but not necessarily a world title on the line. I like Eubank but he's a level below that. I wouldn't pay to watch him fight Benn on principle, but even if Benn hadn't done so much damage to the sport I loveh, that's a fight that rests more on the deeds of their fathers than the achievements of the fighters themselves. If I pay for it I'm encouraging the sport down the carnival attraction route. If Eubank goes for glory in the latter stage of his career I'm onboard, would be great to see him match himself against a title holder and see if he can prevail.
I would absolutely love it if Eubank goes down the route of either titles or testing himself properly (GGG) and forces Benn to take a similar route rather than cash out. They can always fight another time if things don't work out.
Would hate the GGG fight now. GGG a legend whose a shadow of his former self you can detoriate quickly further when old in this game, couldnt stand the narrative of junior beating the great Golovkin, deserves better than that
