I think Hearn wants to be a promoter for the next 10, 20 years or even longer. He's a boxing fan at heart and wants to be involved with the sport and, hopefully, he can make it grow.
Crazy to see how far Matchroom have come. Bellew and Barker both won world titles. Brook beat Porter who was much better than Alexander too.
and Selby won a world title, and Froch beat kessler and couldn't have ended his career any better with a KO win over his bitter rival in front of 80,000 at wembley. .and he's now a hall of famer. @Sonny1 got a lot of things wrong lol
You've just trawled through 10 years worth of threads to pull out one way back in 2013......just wow.
You cannot be serious searching and bumping ancient threads. The fascination and obsession for promoters is beyond me. Time for @DramaShow to declare his official title at Matchroom.
there was a time when you couldn’t even type “Uncle Frank”’s name on this forum since then he has found out that a better way is to put his shills to work @Dragon Punch, like his competition…
If @DramaShow doesn’t get a job at Matchroom one day it’s a travesty. Put a word in for him @Trafford he’d be a great asset to the company.
I dread to think what BVA stands for. Get yourself a partner (not DramaShow though, he’s married to his Eddie Hearn sex doll).
Rereading my post from a decade ago, I think it was quite good (and very well written I must add), plus I was nice about Hearn . Who cares if those 2 averages Barker and Bellend did win alphabet belts? They fought the softest touches in the division to do so, it means nothing. They weren’t proper champions and let’s remember Frampton couldn’t get away from MR quick enough (which was also very funny then and also now, mugged them right off).
