Matchroom VADA Testing, other Promoters?

Not once did you moan about the lack of drug testing until Hearn started with it a few weeks ago.

 

He wasn't given the script till recently

 

It’s absolutely bizarre. Hearn’s little cronies are now all over Twitter banging on about how Matchroom are saving the sport. On one hand they’re buzzing for Conor Benn’s return and on the other just repeating what Hearn says about drug tests. Absolute weirdos.

 

In fairness, they're beating the VADA drum because of UKAD dragging the bollocks out of the Benn situation and also for the sheer fact that they are inept in comparison.

 

The fact that Benn keeps popping up with different scientists, legal teams, 'evidence' and excuses no doubt complicates matters.

There’s an easy solution to not have the bollocks dragged out of a failed test - don’t take steroids.

Benn made his bed by taking them and Matchroom made there’s by backing him (and still backing him to this day).

 

Absolute nobody is criticising Hearn for having more testing. They’re criticising him for the hypocrisy shown when one of his own fighters fails a test and for trying to take the moral high ground after his previous behaviour regarding PEDs.

Also Sam Jones has never spoken sense in his life. The fat Quagmire lookalike twat.

 

Also am I missing something here but don't you need to be enrolled in VADA to be in the WBC rankings? Benn refused to enrol initially then he wanted the ranking and got caught. Baumgardener is the WBC champion is she not? Pretty sure Whyte and AJ were both in the WBC rankings too. So why are matchroom getting the praise?

I never saw such venom from you when Hearn was first talking about Benn however

Look, it's great what MR are doing now but don't kid yourself that they are doing it for the safety of the sport

Bottom line is and no other promoters want to say it but whatever budget they have they can not afford consistent VADA testing

Hearn can after the cash he has made from AJ

 

Yep Matchroom are trying to spin the narrative after their reputation took a battering over the Benn saga.

Their words still mean nothing to me whilst they’re trying to get Benn back in the ring though.
