    Depends on the circumstances and the individual fighter and the philosophies of their camp (or at least coach) but when you've been short on recent meaningful experience yeah, I do think guys pretty often find it less useful to just blitz somebody via KO1.

    That was so nice I ran it back twice. :D

    Playtime was over, Kalajdžić had clearly gotten what he wanted from this and just started laying down concrete with the 1-2. Same type of stuff he'd been landing in the first 7 rounds, but with more insistence and oomph. Ellison wilted in no time flat.

    I didn't even know who Ellison is and he's British. That being said, he's a tough guy and I feel a bit sorry for him there getting stopped late after his gritty display. Think Hot Rod was intent on getting some rounds too though.

    Hot Rod hits really hard and it's a shame he's been so inactive. He would've been or still be a great opponent for Brit LHWs like Yarde, Buatsi, Callum Smith, Azeez, and Richards but he's too dangerous and powerful for their people to take that risk. He would be perfect for someone like Yarde but Big Frank wouldn't even contemplate throwing his boy in with him.

    I knew about him beforehand... unfortunately. When I was putting together Kirk's League schedule a few years back, he was rematching fellow Brit featherfist Charlie Schofield, because he managed to pull the upset and take Charlie's 0 the first time around. I watched the first fight, Mickey beat Charlie with relative ease, so while most went with Charlie because he was the A-side, I thought Mickey could easily duplicate his feat in the rematch, so I picked his worthless ass. Well... he didn't just **** the bed, he blew holes in it with projectile diarrhea. Was dominated from bell to bell, so yeah... **** him.:lol:

    Fair point and well taken. This guy was pretty impressive while he lasted vs Beterbiev. I'd agree that if he sparred GGG it would have been a treat to see
