You don't get to dictate the terms of this discussion.

Oh yes I have. Including the fact that Golovkin's opponents beat Hopkins' opponents.

 You really want to make Likes an arbiter of authority? You may want to rethink this, Mr 419 Likes

So, your posts in a nutshell.

My apologies, the mediocrity of Hopkins' opponents causes them to blur together.

Rosado is a junkyard dog who fought everybody. I suppose that you like the bum-padded and carefully manicured records of your typical Hopkins opponents
Decent and fun fighters. Certainly no worse than most of the guys that make up the well-mattressed records of the majority of Hopkins' opponents.

So, sort of like a better Segundo Mercado?

He was 38. Golovkin was still fighting at the highest level at that age. Yet people still judge GGG as though he were prime and criticize him for looking less than destructive.

Not from what a guy told me LOL He knows Lou & his family. He said his family is or was involved in boxing but Lou was not one of them. That sounded to him exactly what Lou would do set the whole gang on him.
    What a hero huh lol

We read that thread. You made it clear that if Prowler showed up you'd gang bang him.

I'll at least give you credit for telling him in advance, a scumbag might have waited for him to show up and then sicced the homies on him.

No one believes Prowler was gonna show up let alone beat you. They’re just mad that you don’t suck off their heroes.

No that's not true at all. We just think its laughable how serious your adoration for Floyd & Canelo is. You cannot be serious just check the internet & see his ludicrous posts Everyone makes fun of him lol
Ive been in & around boxing practically all my life & for me to follow a boxer first I have to respect him.
I have no respect for Floyd , Canelo etc & how they used every trick in the book, both legal & illegal, to get decisions they really did not deserve & rob opponents.

The accolade doesn't sit well with me. If you flip the Canelo saga and make it 2-0-1 Golovkin then you'd still have plenty criticising the first bout and more contesting the second. I do sympathise with him being legitimately ducked. Really, he should have been the one to convince Martinez to never come back. However, when he edged out Jacobs (even if we accept he was on the turn), it said more about his prowess relative to opposition. Nor does it help that I don't view Canelo as particularly great. Go ahead and give him one of the victories. It's no flag-in-the-ground moment.

People forget we were expecting him to do damage. If not a stoppage, something dominant. The draw outrage gave fans a lifeline to shift the narrative. Think of how someone like Lennox Lewis was criticised for not 'seizing the moment' against Holyfield in round 5 - a fighter he clearly beat - and we can see how kind people are to the Kazakh. It's fan-boy territory to argue who deserved what were basically two draws. The real scoop is Golovkin wasn't that good. Not relative to this thread. Thudding jab, patient, good at cutting off the ring, sure, but not the smartest fighter. Hesitant in his big moment. A tad slow. A bit hittable. That terminator vibe was built off squashing C level guys, and when you inspire the notion of the destroyer in spectators, when they emotionally invest themselves in someone ala Mike Tyson, it will always have them scrambling reason when things don't go as pictured.

This 20-defence malarkey is a hoot.
