Agree with most of that. If they both really wanted the fight then there’s enough money involved from doing it in America or the UK. They both know the loser is done though so want a cash out essentially should it be them who loses.

Don’t think Joshua is improving though. He’s 34 and stuck between styles.

Existing high multi millionaires not fighting for millions of pounds whether in London, Wales, Saudi or Vegas due to .......... not enough money.

    Pathetic

Wilder v Joshua was never happening.

the problem is, I don’t see where he goes and who fights.

Wilder and fury are out of the equation. You’re then left with Ruiz decider, and either zhang or Joyce. They all beat Joshua, and the money won’t be anywhere near as good.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re banking on hrgovic upsetting usyk to give Joshua a title shot.

Good to see a true fighting man in Usyk having a fight in Poland with ridiculously cheap tickets and giving the Ukrainians there something to look forward to in troubled times.

Poland didn't care about that fight - did you see the MASSIVE gaps in the stadium?

He would be terrible on Strictly. Unless they had a Robot week.

The man puts titles, glory and legacy at the top of his objectives unlike the British Heavyweights (Fury, Joshua, Whyte and Chisora) who only care about the money even when they are already so rich they don't need any more.

That stadium holds 45,000 plus floor space. Even half full is about 20-25k which is good going in another country.

For what it’s worth I think this is right. Just curious as to how you saw it.

Agree with the Poland thing, it was a great thing to do.

A shame he signed with the Saudis (who will surely have funded the Wroclaw event), and will presumably box in Saudi for the rest of his career.

Usyk though has been very inactive for years now and can't be described as "true fighting man". He and his team are calculating professionals, and only pick opponents who will benefit his career.

His teams' antics when trying to prevent the Joyce fight being ordered in 2021 was Fury-esque. They argued that if ordered, Usyk would merit a 93-7 split, and battled for the Joshua mandatory.

Since the Joshua meltdown in Saudi Arabia on 20 August 2022, Joshua has faced two ZERO threat opponents Franklin and Helenius.

One would expect him to fight 4-6 times per year given this level of opponent and we can all smell the low threat Whyte 2 fight coming back on the table rather than face the dangerous Wilder.

Hopefully the WBC strip Fury of his WBC belt and give Usyk the chance to create history against the number one challenger in the WBC rankings as Ducker Fury clearly does not want to fight him. Fury has ducked the man for a fight against a non boxer and enough is enough.

Usyk is the real Heavyweight Champion and good to see a real champion ready to face anyone.

    Yup.
They have done their fleecing of the idiots with shite fights.
It won't happen on Joshua's part as he knows he is getting KTFO by Wilder.
Wilder to his credit proved he is game in his trilogy with fury, and i have no doubt he wants it.

He was supposed to fight Whyte to be fair. Joshua never ducked anyone in the 1st part of his career but since the second loss to Usyk it looks like he’s become more cautious. To be fair he’s not world champion and isn’t fighting on PPV so I’m not too mad at it.
That’s not his fault though. There was a year between the two Joshua fights due to the war in Ukraine. Then Usyk was mandated to fight Dubois which was delayed due to an injury to Dubois Now Usyk has been mandated to fight Hrgovic which should happen by April at the latest.

Six fights in the past six years was more my point.

I'm certainly not blaming him for inactivity in and during 2022 - in fact I've defended this period of inactivity:

He won all belts at Cruiserweight and only the ducking of Fury has prevented an attempt at achieving the same at heavyweight.

Went in against Joshua as the underdog without any hesitation being a much smaller man without much chance according to the Matchroom spin machine on here.

A real fighting man for me and a warrior.
