Gassiev vs Wallin the 30th september

Whyte blatantly ducked Wallin even with home and A-side advantage. Whyte-level guys want absolutely nothing to do with a big durable tenacious southpaw boxer who gave Fury a good fight.

Joshua covertly ducked Wallin. Hearn kept talking about Wallin but chose survival mode Franklin instead, despite Franklin being unknown and Wallin representing a chance to one up Fury and build some hype, if Joshua beat him.

Gassiev would also be too dangerous as an opponent. Why would heavyweights want to fight an "Armenian" cruiserweight who can not just humiliate them by beating them while smaller but spark them out too?

 

Stylistically this favours Wallin: Gassiev got a SD against southpaw boxer blown up LHW Lebedev (his 2nd/3rd best opponent) and lost 12-0 or 11-1 against southpaw boxer Usyk.

But Wallin's got to be on his P's and Q's for 12 rounds against a dangerous puncher who is going to be looking for a stoppage first and foremost, who is considerably better than Wallin's best opponent beaten Breazeale and is very likely punching harder at heavyweight than he was at cruiser. The politics could be an issue too, so Wallin may have to school him to get the nod.

Nice fight, and a pretty cool tag boot. One suffered his only loss to Usyk, the other to Fury. We all know triangle theory and stuff like that isn't necessarily true, but in the eyes of a lot of people one guy's resume is gonna age much better to the detriment of the other.

Don't really lean one way or the other on this matchup either. I'm a bit sorry to say, I haven't seen much of either man outside of their respective fights with Fury and Usyk. I know enough to know this'll be a hell of a fight though

I think Gassiev should win, Wallin is overrated, and has no power at all, he went 12 rounds with a fighter who is not even top 200...

If Murat still can perform after all this health problem he will knockout Wallin who is mega overrated dude (because Fury got mega problem with him but that mean nothing)

Gassiev always got heavy legs but he got very good hand speed. He should be abble to land on Otto smth good and his power should do the job.

 

And at least Murat had the nads to fight 'Oleksandr The Great'.
