Frank Bruno vs Zhilei Zhang

Zhang catches Bruno mid rounds and finishes him with a flurry. Pretty back and forth up to that point. But that nasty left of Zhang’s lands on the button soon or later.

 

Both have suspect stamina both can hit hard, but Zhang is more durable and doesn't freeze like a deer in the headlights when he gets caught.

Zhang by mid round TKO in a good fight.

 

Some will probably say that Bruno is better because he is an old school fighter, he was good, but I prefer Zhang because I somehow like his style better and I consider him the third best heavyweight today.

 

I want to say Bruno but Zhang probably beats him. Bruno's great jab and Zhang low out put and poor movement probably sees Bruno rack up a lead on the score cards but he probably gets caught at some point and freezes and Zhang finishes him.

Yeah maybe Bruno can do what he did vs the durable and dangerous McCall but with Zhang being bigger, a southpaw and far sneakier with his counters than McCall, I don't see that happening.

 

Can`t believe so many people picking Zhang,his only victory of note is against the overrated Joyce.Frank fought and beat fighters of a better calibre than Zhang`s opponents.Bruno wins this all day long

 

Out of interest, which Bruno wins would you rate as better than Zhang?

I would even favour an old Joe Bugner over Zhang

 

Old Bugner I think is a bit of a stretch but otherwise yeah, you're right

 

LOL, Zhang would beat them all with easy, except (probably) of super durable McCall. Coetzee and Williams were shot, Tillis was well past his prime and Coetzer was coming off two consecutive KO losses

 

Maybe so but who has Zhang beat who are better than them?

The problem is Noel is that anytime Bruno gets hurt he freezes, and Zhang being a Southpaw with sneaky lazer like punches and good power, I don't see Bruno not getting caught.

I think Zhang is overrated aswell to an extent, but Bruno has one of the worst recovering abilities. When he gets hurt he just stands against the ropes and gets pummeled.

Bruno has quite a few attributes better than Zhang, but in the one where it matters between two big punches like recovering abilities Bruno is considerably worst and that would let Big Frank down.

 

Zhang shatters Bruno’s Glass Jaw into a million shards.
