The propaganda machine is so strong that I believed that MR we’re doing the most, didn’t know Baumgardner was leaked by journos
The Baumgardner situation is different from what you’re complaining. Sure some journalists were spreading rumours on Twitter, but Matchroom legally couldn’t release it officially to the public until the date they released it on. This was because of confidentiality.
Of course they couldn’t. How strange that they can release statements about the B side failing a test whenever they want but when it’s one of their own fighters they’re not allowed because of confidentiality

And we all know at least one of the guns he's speculating about. Problem is if he's gunna allude to something he should either investigate it and report or state who he's been told.
Always interesting when a journalist who isn't exclusively dependent on access to boxing for their living speaks about the sport. Just look at the difference when the leading sports writers took an interest in the early stages of the Connor Benn story with the way that the established/controlled boxing journalists are so keen to move on. They know which side their bread's buttered and do the promoters who control their access to the boxers they need to write about. This is one reason why the sport is so corrupt. The people that should be holding people to account are beholden to the ringmaster's rather than their audience. At least Powell is willing to speak out.
The other interesting sport where drugs is rife but never gets mentioned is Rugby because it's full of public school boys, all three times the size of rugby players from yesteryear with absolute insane muscle, size and obviously on gear. A few friends went Twickenham uni, played rugby and said it is rife, even local club, one of the players went on to play for England too
I'd bet around 70% of UKADs bans are handed out to Rugby players. Rugby always gets such an easy ride in the press.
Not sure if it is being aimed in the right direction? But good to see some heat being turned up on cheats.
Who was the 2nd one at Sims' gym? I'd expect a poster like you to ignore the Ingle Gym who have had more failed tests - Saunders, Ngabu and Galahad all from the top of my head. I suggest you edit / delete your post before making serious accusations of the Matchroom Gym encouraging fighters to take illegal substances. I doubt Matchrooms' lawyers will be happy reading what you have wrote.
The figures are public for currently-served violations. 25 out of 40 are from rugby in one form or another.
Yet it literally never gets mentioned in the media. When you consider all the sport UKAD have to cover its quite astonishing how bad Rugby is
