Unlikely Makhmudov provides the kind of payday Chisora has been used to lately. Even against Pulev he was guaranteed 500K, no chance Top rank is paying that kind of money to pad Mak's record, especially as the last time Mak fought a durable gate keeper he struggled and this gatekeeper KO'ed the Takam, Mak struggled with.

True he's not an elusive fighter, but neither is Takam, if Takam can take him the distance, Chisora who is more durable and who does move his head a lot very likely goes the distance too.

No he won't fight on the back foot, he'll be the first guy to consistently back up Mak and I don't see Mak fighting well off the back foot,

As for tactics, no Takam used very different tactics, but the OH right that Takam used Chisora would too and he'd have no problem finding Mak's chin.

Now I'm not saying Chisora wins, Mak beats him, but it's another fight where Mak is made to look bad and struggles, hence why his handlers won't go anywhere near Chisora even if they could afford to pay Chisora.

Where did you come up with the fantasy that Makhmudov "struggled" with Takam?

Makhmudov nearly KOed Takam in round one. After that Takam went into survival mode, he wasn't trying to win, just to survive. He became a bit more aggressive later, but Makhmudov knocked him down again in a later round and so Takam went back into survival mode (look at 2:23 on the video).

Makhmudov wasn't getting many rounds in because he was knocking out his opponents early, so he was happy to go the distance with Takam.

Chisora is easy to hit, I'm quite sure Makhmudov would knock him out early.

Yes. Wallin is having trouble finding decent opponents, so why not fight Makhmudov?

Takam dominated Chisora except for one hail mary. Saying as that hail mary against a 40 year old is Chisora's career best ,Chisora has the same odds pf beating Mahk as he does winning the lottery.

Wasn't saying Chisora would beat Makh, was saying they he would not be able to secure a fight with Chisora because Makh couldn't offer him the kind of money required to make the fight likely.

Makh would indeed beat the current version of Chisora simply because Chisora is basically shot or close to it based on his most recent performance. But even now I think Chisora would give him some problems because Makh can only fight going forwards which plays into Chisora's style and I'm not sure Makh has the power to stop Chisora. If he couldn't stop Takam it's unlikely he stops Chisora who's always shown himself to be pretty durable.

    Not sure man

Chisora is only a punch or two away from full CTE and Mak probably wouldn't have to land that many to fully put him over.

If Chisora is completely shot then yeah that's possible but if he can still take a punch like he used too then he probably goes the distance but doesn't do enough to win.

Just goes to show how sorry of a fighter Arslanbek must be if "boxing fans" are asking for him to face a shot Chisora.
