The only hype I've seen so far is from you tbh. I just don't think many people care about this fight, I'll be honest, I can see why.
Yeah that was long ago & those matches didn't materialize when they mattered kind of like what's happening now in the present instead we got Canelo facing mostly unwanted guys on DAZN in that time period, Plus two Mexicans going at it with Benavidez & Canelo trumps anything involving 154LB Charlo any day.
Of course he won’t give Bivol a shot at at 168. What would Canelo do without the weight excuse? Try to get Bivol to come down further to 160? Canelo fans will be PRAYING Bivol loses to Beterbiev. It saves Canelo from having to getting another beating from Bivol. After Bivol beats Beterbiev, Canelo will need to find another excuse or try to offer chump change to make Bivol refuse the fight.
The hype is a lie. As soon as Charlo enters the ring he is stripped and no longer undisputed champion at 154
Well it's still Undisputed vs Undisputed when the fight actually happens. So it's not a lie, the LMW Undisputed Champion is in fact fighting the SMW Undisputed Champion.
No homie. He will be stripped as soon as he enters the ring. So before a punch is thrown it’s a BIG LIE
When the fight was made and agreed upon, that was before the WBO made the ruling that he'll be stripped. But no, he won't be stripped as soon as he enters the ring. He'll enter the ring as Undisputed Champion. He'll be introduced as Undisputed Champion, he'll have the WBO belt in his possession. So he'll be considered Undisputed when the match occurs. The WBO has indicated that he will be stripped when the match begins, which to your point would make it technically not Undisputed vs Undisputed which is a strange decision. Why the WBO would allow him to be introduced as Undisputed then strip him when the fight begins creates some confusion over it.
Technically it's not Undisputed vs Undisputed anymore because we know he's been stripped and that Tyszu has been elevated to the full WBO titilist.
Technically he hasn't been stripped yet so it's still Undisputed vs Undisputed. If he walks into the ring Undisputed and gets announced as Undisputed which sounds to be the plan, then it's still in fact a battle between two Undisputed Champions. The whole idea that he's supposedly getting stripped when the bell rings doesn't make any sense. So what, is the WBO planning on literally grabbing the belt from Jermell's corner the moment the bell rings? How's that gonna work?
