Who came up with his moniker Monster?

Always seemed uncharacteristic of a guy like Inoue to call himself that.

His team. Inoue knocked out 65% of his opponents in the amateurs. That's big ass gloves, headgear, and 3 rounds to get it done.

I think his power will carry to 126 & will become average at 130 & he will start struggling due to size, 135 is a bridge too far looking at his body frame but who knows. If he can become undisputed at 122, 126, & 130 he would have already achieved something very special.

If you asked if Pacquiao could go up 8 when he 1st got peoples attention, most would have thought you were crazy. So who knows because there are always surprises in Boxing but at this moment I think 130 is the max he can get to

He could do. LW is shot to sh!t atm. Stacked but scattered. Inoue could realistically come in and pick 'em off. Silly scenario. Boxing is just enough of a joke atm that gaining weights are made thus easy

GOAT? Probably never. He would need to do great things at Lightweight and higher to be the GOAT.

I think he can be champion at Lightweight.

For now, if he becomes undisputed at his current weight and Crawford chooses to fight Spence again next, then Inoue moves from PFP #2 to the #1 spot.

Tyson has the unique skeletal structure of an ancient Neanderthal. Inoue has the skeletal structure off a ken barbie doll in comparison.
The idea you put them side by side based off height is the most ridiculous thing I have heard.

When there are four champions in a weight class often the 4th best, and sometimes the 3rd best, is actually not that great of a fighter. If this was to happen it is probably a couple of years away and Inoue will be getting up there in age. While Monster may not beat the top lightweight, whoever that might be at the time, I can see him beating a weaker 4th best champion. I think it would be great to watch the attempt.

Have you seen the size of some of those 135 pounders like Haney (former 135.. quack quack) and Teofimo when he was down there too? Shakur? Haney is the same size as Crawford. Teofimo was as big as Conor Benn and Rougarou when he was at 135. Shakur looked almost as big as Super Boots I jest thee not when he stood next to him.

In a catchweight situation I agree. But can he put weight on and maintain the speed and explosiveness?
