If no one else is willing to step up and Chisora will do anything for an extra buck these days

Plus he hasn't been properly chinned in a long time....

I'd put him against AJ. Test that chin. If AJ comes out on top then maybe he'll hold up against Wilder

    Wallin/Gassiev winner
    Zhang/Joyce loser
    Anderson
    Ajagba
    Martin
He needs to fight someone with a pulse, he's not just going to be handed a title shot.

takam ran to keep from getting stopped. when iffy opponents got Chisora on his horse to survive, Brit refs stopped both fights the next time Chisora landed anything. I'm talking Pala and Gerber, both terrible Brit stoppages to protect Chisora.

Hrgovic's fight with Usyk will not happen, and nothing will come of the fight with Joshua either, Hrgovic vs. Makhmudov would be the real deal...

No, it won't be. Hrgovic is classes above Makhmudov and would knock him out early

    Hopefully against a meaningful opponent.

Makhmudov is a Muslim. The Saudis might want to have him on their event. He's co-promoted by Arum who is Fury's co-promoter so it's definitely possible.

So, @Brighton bomber was right, they aren't going to put Makhmudov against decent opponent after he barely got by 41-years-old Takam

He is fighting this guy next - https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/574472

It has to be said though, as bad as Smakici is he is still better than Makhmudov's last opponent. At least he is actually a boxer, not a basketball player.

Smakici is a hard puncher but has no stamina, Makhmudov will knock him out early, any source of Makhmudov fighting Smakici?

The question though is who exactly is the elite competition?
