I have no interest in next weeks card with that young Aussie champ who went up to Nikita after his last fight. FightHype can go and get ****ed with their set up bull****. Fight Hype indeed trying to promote that **** as a big rivarly, a big bout.

Pull the other one please. Aussie boxing is becoming a wank fest. Or should I say more now than ever before.

Its not FightHype who are responsible for that, and think you'll find that No Limit are the promoters and just dont be surprised if its another ppv event.

And its all become abit of a "wank fest" ever since the exclusive agreement between No Limit and Fox Sports/Kayo commenced earlier this year.

Not a bad little show next Wednesday night by the looks of it. Headlined by Vegas Larfield who's one of the best talents in the country. I think he can go all the way so keep an eye out for him. Dylan Biggs, the national Junior Middleweight champ, is a fighter I haven't seen before. He's only very young & will likely be The Caboose's next opponent so I'm keen to see how he shapes up. Will be good to see a young bloke collect a career high payday against Nikita next start. And of course if he gives a good account of himself it will launch his career. Jackson Murray is a decent H/W & a former national amateur Super Heavy champ. As is former Olympian Johan Linde who has debuted as a professional this year. Pretty sure he's the guy who kept Joseph Parker out of the 2012 Olympics. Better late than never for a pro career I guess. I think it will a night of A-sides winning but it will be worth catching, I reckon. Pretty confident it will be regular foxtel rather than PPV.

The Big Guns of Australian boxing come out to play in October. Ordinarily I would say they will clean up but I'm picking up on a vibe for some major upsets between now & the end of the year. I think some big heads might roll on the international stage although hopefully all of our guys get through unscathed. There's some exciting times ahead next year if they can keep the train on the tracks for a bit longer.

THE BOXING SCOREBOARD - AUSTRALIA 24, THE WORLD 12

Funnily enough, on The Boxing Scoreboard, the ratio of Australian wins to losses is exactly the same as it was based on a smaller sample of results last year - 2 to 1. Keep up the good work guys (& girls).

    Upcoming fights:
Skye Nicholson v Sabrina Perez (Argentina) on 16 September for

The short answer is b/c Fast Eddie gets paid. The only shows that appear on Dead Zone are the ones Foxtel doesn't want. Different story in relation to local promotions where No Limit has a monopoly but this isn't a local show.

I see Jackson Murray is back tonight. That is good for the domestic heavyweight scene. His opponent looks half his size though.
