Frank Martin Pulls Out of Shakur Stevenson...

Martin and James knows this a bad fight to take an automatic loss. I was shocked when it was supposed to be a done deal.

 

Shakur has now said the fight collapsed due to Martin changing his demands, he wanted 50/50. So Martin a guy who's never even fought for a title before and made $75K vs Rivera wants 50/50 to fight Stevenson a two weight world champion who was guaranteed $3 mill against Yoshino.

Martin ducked the Stevenson fight, agreed to terms, then realised he was going to get schooled and beat up and so changed his demands to 50/50 to avoid the fight. Wilder did the exact same thing when they first negotiated a fight with Joshua, right out of the PBC playbook on how to duck a fighter.
