I'm gonna go with Fenech I remember Morales having alot of trouble vs a one armed Jesus Chavez, In Jin Chi another aggressive awkward fighter took alot of rounds off him, Wayne McCullough won 3 or 4 rounds off of Morales, Barrera beat him 2 out of 3, and finally Guty Espadas give Morales trouble with his aggression and should've beat him the first time.

I agree, outside of the Espadas fight assesment. It was the case of commentary team over-reacting to underdog's success. Espadas had his moments, but Morales clearly outscored him, the way I saw it.

This one could easily go either way. Pick ‘em fight.

I thought Espadas beat him 7-5 when I last watched it years ago, I know punchstats are not always accurate. But Espadas did have a pretty significant edge over Morales in punches landed 220-158 with Espadas having 31 connect percentage to only 23 for Morales.

Hah, needless to say - I think whoever was pushing buttons for Compubox that night wasn't at his best.

I know opinions vary for this fight, even right now looking at YT comments and searching through this forum, I found scorecards and opinons from clear Morales win, through "could've gone either way" to clear Espadas win, but me personally - each time I score it, the more of a clear win for Morales I see, with the cleaner punches in his favor in majority of rounds. Particulary in first half I thought his work was overlooked by the HBO crew.
That's boxing scoring though, big part of the fun is it's subjectivity.

All I know is that this would have been a very grueling battle and hard fought war between 2 very exciting fighters. I give the edge to Fenech, his workrate and ferocity will overwhelm Morales at some point in the fight.
