Was Joe Joyce a hypejob all along? Zhang rematch will say all that needs to be said.

Joyce needs to make all the adjustments, Big Bang what he does very well get that fast big left hand in all the time and its accurate, you need to avoid it. Outwork him and let him blow a casket.

Joyce isnt the most evasive, he will have to land first.

What's the point of discussion forums if not for people to post opinions, many of which will be rubbish... seeing nonsense corrected is educational for some readers in itself, or prompt people to re-examine their opinions.

The idea that no-one should have an opinion is just ridiculous - withhold your own if you like, you have that right of course... and no-one can tell you that you have to value your own opinion either... but that post was just so antithetical to the whole point of the place you posted it I couldn't help but reply.

Your right but sometimes when I see people with zero boxing experience criticising somebody with boxing experience, I just think opinions need to be slightly respectful of the boxer. I'm pissing into the wind because there's rarely any respect shown to boxers on this forum.

 

Well I mean.. according to some on here Usyk is massively overrated and hasn’t “Proved enough” at heavyweight so… Dummies are gonna Dumb. Is what it is!

But Joyce is a good fighter. Just not the unstoppable killer he was made out to be by many. But he’s a solid fighter.

 

Mark my words. Zhang is going to KO Joyce in rematch.

 

I saw some of the training footage. Looks like they're working on some weaknesses with his overall conditioning but it's still possible that his lack of stamina is genetic and it leads to only marginal improvements to his endurance. With Joyce his new coach made him come in lighter leaner and more "in shape" but it didn't improve his speed at all

 

Even in the last 23 years he isn't even close to biggest hype job, Broner as I said was far more hyped.

Yeah Sky glorified him as did all the fans that jumped on the bandwagon after he beat Parker. But that's a networks job to promote a fighter, they all do it to their fighters to try and make them draws. Only idiots believe the hype.

I don't belittle or attack, I simply criticised there is a difference. I still think Joyce can beat Hrgovic, styles makes fights. Hrgovic isn't a southpaw or a counter puncher he won't be able to do what Zhang did.

 

Idk about overrated but he’s now 37 (actually 38 in a few days), so one has to wonder how much time he has to make any real noise.
