SRL had a detached retina and he was inactive 3 years and moved up in weight and beat Hagler.

Nobody complained about the retina when Spence stopped Ugas. Nobody complained about Spence's teeth when he beat Danny Garcia worse than anyone ever has.

GGG essentially fought his entire career at 160, Hagler as well. WTF are you going on about???

    Shut your damn mouth boy

Crawford has to beat Canelo, Bivol and Tyson Fury to earn his respect. Otherwise it's just a resume of washed up welters.

Crawford doesnt want the fight. He wants Spence to move on. Crawford wants Jermell/Canelo.

There is no "going back on his word". Bud said he'd be "open to 154" - Which is CLEAR - since he wants Jermell at 154 or Canelo at 168. Bud just doesnt want to waste time w Spence again.

...for your "higher capability" XD XD XD

If Bud beats Canelo at 168 (assuming Canelo beats Jermell) he will have a case for GOAT.

Certainly seems to be the logical option for Spence to dodge the rematch and a second battering at the hands of Crawford to use this weight “issue” to avoid Crawford whilst saving face. If Spence is serious about rematching Crawford then move to 154 and prove himself there and then seek out the rematch .

Crawford is going to get crumpled by Canelo if he really wants to do that. Golo barely wobbled Canelo - but Crawford can? cmon. Doubt the fight happens.

Last time I checked Canelo lost every round to a 36 year old featherweight.

If he's said he's open to 154 and then isn't when it actually comes down to it - then that is going back on his word in the clearest way possible.

I find it interesting the view that Spence was drained in their first fight has now become overwelming critical fact all this pivots on. Used to take away Crawfords credibility in that big win, force a change of terms in their agreement.....

Spence doesn't need all the excuse making or hand holding. Drained or not he lost fair and square.

It's a business tactic. Remember this is a business first and a sport second.

It won't be Crawford going back on 154, it will be how much Spence wants it. Spence only wants the rematch for the high purse; he will get the highest purse at 147, and will have to take less to get a fight at 154.
