He fights Boots at 147 or moves up to 154-168 and fights someone with a pulse/name. We all know this chump is going to go back to fighting the Hank Lundys of the world, or he might drag Pac-Man out of retirement. I could also see him trying to target a Vergil at 147.

At best he’ll fight Thurman and Danny Garcia. No way in hell this guy fights Canelo lmao.

He's already stated he'll never fight Thurman or Garcia as pay back for their refusal to fight him, so...

I love Ennis. Dude has a bright future. BUT he has not even beaten anyone remotely near the top of the WW division. As a mandatory, he would deserve a fight w/ the champ. But lets be honest, "Ellerbe" doesn't give two shits about Boots. He's just using his name to dog TC.

This is simply a matter of guys on two different trajectories. Ennis is an up and comer. TC is going to be out in a few years. Not every contender can be born in the same year.

HOWEVER, if TC does not fight Spence, or move up and face a top JrMW. THEN, and only then, Ennis should be highly considered.

But as a betting man, TC would win a clear UD. He has the experience and confidence of having many championship fights on his side. He's honed his skills. Ennis is still doing the same.

Whoever pays him the most to fight at that time. :nusenuse:

I honestly think Crawford is done with 'legacy' fights for their own sake. At his age I don't blame him; if being a two-weight undisputed champion and a consensus #1 fighter in the world doesn't make you a first-ballot Hall of Famer then nothing will. We're in a recession, so make your paper while you can, Bud.

If not ESjr (Which I still think it will be), then who knows, as he only has a few realistic options. But depends on if he stays at 147 or moves up. Contract stips suggest ESjr. But I'd be cool with Tszyu at 154 if he jumps up in weight. Jermell at 154 would be good, but he's busy, so we'll see in a few weeks. BUT....if there isn't a good opponent, I am OK w/ Boots at 147. Just hope he doesn't get a beatdown that mentally stunts his growth as a fighter. Would actually love to see Boots v Thurman if he's serious on coming back.

    Agree 100%

This would be a nice test for Boots.

It would be stupid of Canelo to even entertain this fight (I don't blame Crawford, everyone wants that Canelo payday but it would be dumb of Canelo to give it to everyone who croaks about wanting to fight him). If he puts Crawford to sleep, they will say he cherrypicked a blown up WW jumping up 3 weight classes

Thurman will want silly silly money. Isn’t he mandatory anyway? Crawford will end up fighting Thurman next I think.

Why is Crawford a fraud? Isn't he the best fighter in the world?
