Canelo by UD. Even if Charlo fights the fight of his life he’s not KOing Canelo. Ginger balls doesn’t lose on the cards, he’s got the yudges in his pocket. Charlo wins a few rounds probably but not many on the official cards no matter what happens.

Boxing is as corrupt and rotten as ever but I think Canelo wins this one legitimately.

If anyone has the judges in his pocket it's Charlo. If Charlo goes the distance and keeps it close, chances are he'll win. Canelo pretty much has to hurt Charlo or dominate him or else Charlo should get the win. We've seen the Charlos get the benefit of the doubt on PBC cards in the past in fights the public thought they lost. If it's close you'll probably have a PBC appointed judge scoring it wide for Charlo then two judges scoring it close. I could see Canelo losing a Split decision if it's close. Those who say Canelo doesn't lose on the cards was disproved by what happened against Bivol. While the argument there was Canelo still receieved favorable scoring in defeat, he still did lose a decision which many said was impossible. And against Bivol it was very different in a lot of ways, like Canelo having nothing to lose and Bivol being a Russian citizen. It's a different situation here with Canelo defending his titles and Charlo being a PBC fighter and an Undisputed Champ himself. Charlo has everything to gain and Canelo is expected to win, so if Charlo keeps it close and doesn't get hurt the judges I think are going to score rounds for him especially beacuse Canelo is typically a low output fighter. The other problem for Canelo is that he gasses late in the fight, while Charlo is a stamina work horse who will only get better as the fight goes on, if he can avoid getting caught with a big shot. This all has the makings of a Charlo decision win if he boxes well and avoids getting hurt. The early rounds will be key for Charlo. If he can hang in there and take the fight into the late stages, watch out we could be headed for a new Undisputed Champion.

Hmm, not sure about that. When has Canelo ever lost a close fight on the cards? I can think of at least three fights in which the judges favored him massively on the cards even though he clearly lost or it was close. Didn’t a judge have him even in the Mayweather fight? Bivol beat him by ten rounds and that was scored a close fight and the GGG first fight was a historic robbery. Somehow the judges always rule in Canelo’s favor. Hmm.

Canelo will get the Canelo treatment in this fight. If he’s on his feet at the end, his hand will be raised. You and the Canelo boys will be first to congratulate him and support the cards in his favor. No matter what happens between the ropes. I predict!

Canelo by brutal KO if Charlo shows up to fight. Canelo late stoppage or wide unanimous decision if Charlo goes into survival mode from the get go.

Or Charlo outboxes him wins more rounds and wins a decision. Canelo is known to give away rounds with low activity and gasses in fights. Charlo's athleticism and conditioning could be a big factor here. Also Canelo has chosen to train at high altitude, his camp is apparently in Truckee California. He's training in the mountains while Charlo is training in the extreme heat of Houston. Did you see how sweaty Booker T was the interview at Charlo's training camp. You couldn't have two more different climates for training camp. I don't know how effective training at high altitudes is going to be for Canelo. On the one hand, the idea is that the tinner air of training in the mountains makes it so that when you go down to lower elevation for the fight your stamina and condition would improve since it's been used to the thinner air and now have more air. But on the other hand that's an adjustment on the body.

I don't know if Canelo is going to be able to match Charlo's athleticism or conditioning. Canelo says he wants to show Charlo his skill, he said he remembed a time long ago when the Charlo twins said they didn't rate his skills. Maybe it was after he lost to Mayweather I don't know but Canelo seems to be wanting to out skill Charlo and not just over power him. But if Charlo can be elusive and use lateral movement which is an emphasis of him and his camp then he can make it frustrating for Canelo to catch him. The big thing Jermell needs to work on is head movement. I see a lot of good work for him in the training video but he needs to work on head movement and mastering distance. Canelo is not a guy you want to stand in front of and I think Jermell knows this. So when you say he can only go the distance if he goes into "survival" mode what you really mean is if he boxes, stays on his bike and doesn't trade with Canelo. The question is how many rounds can he win, will the judges give him close rounds and can he win a decision.

Can't believe this super fight is not too far away. It's going to be real interesting having Tim Tszyu ringside. Charlo wins, he's going to be **** talking him after the fight. A Charlo loss, Tszyu will be smiling. Tszyu won't care either way because Tszyu obviously wants a piece of Charlo.

I hope Charlo wins because I genuinely like Charlo. Regardless of what beef he has with Tim. But **** the fight and the whole situation is going to be fan ****ing tastic.

I love Charlo's style btw. I love everything about it. He always stays aggressive. He'll use angles, box, and also just straight smashing. Love the grunt too.

He's a brilliant boxer. And he can brawl. Great persona.

    Let's go Charlo!

I've seen one of Canelo's fights scored fairly, and thats the 3rd GGG fight.

That's a legitimate complaint. Canelo should be fighting Benevidez and Charlo should be fighting Tsyzu.

This right here. Canelo ought to be fighting Benavidez anyway.

Im putting a whack on canelo stoppage.

If Canelo does stop him well, this is afight where performance matters not just a W.

Charlo is motivated & has a hell of a chance as he actually has a bigger frame then Canelo.

Mell will show up to fight might could possibly knock Nelo down.
That being said edge still goes to Canelo
Because of the experience & level of opponents fought plus the 18-19 months of inactivity for Charlo.

I just can’t see that being a factor. There’s no way that Charlo coming up from 154, after a lengthy layoff, will be able to use his bigger frame as an advantage.
