What are people's thoughts on this 30 year old (looks older) Cuban southpaw prospect?

    I like Lenier Pero.

Pero fractured Victor Faust's ribs in three places with a body shot last time out.

    He's the new 'Body Snatcher.'

After nine fights, he's already the fourth-ranked WBA contender (behind Wilder, Bakole and Joshua) and he's fighting again in 10 days.

I'd love to see Frank Sanchez vs. Lenier Pero. But Sanchez seems to be going for the WBC belt while Pero's going for the WBA belt.

Usyk feigns a foul every time a body punch hurts him. If Pero hit Usyk in the body and broke a rib (let alone three), Usyk would probably melt into the floor like the witch at the end of Wizard of Oz.

It'll be interesting to see how his career plays out in the next year or so. If Joshua and Wilder end up going for different belts, Pero and Bakole could be battling for a mandatory title shot sooner rather than later.

If he landed on Usyks ribs then the punch would be well above Usyks belt.

I think he looks decent. Good high guard, sneaky counters and decent hand speed. But have to wonder if he'll end up like a lot of the other Cuban heavies and just lack the focus and desire to really achieve anything and make the most of what talent they have.

He's okay, think he'll barely crack the top 10 due to an impressive performance, get hyped due to that and his amateur background, and then get exposed

I remember watching live the fight against Viktor Vykhryst, what a body shot!

His brother, Danier, has a lot of potential.
