    Holyfield
    Mercer
    Tucker
    Tua
    Rahman

The guy was an absolute badass. Most impressive is how he took on top prospects that most avoided and he crushed them. Grant was seen as a young lion going into their match and a legit problem because he was the bigger man. He didn't last two rounds. Golota just beat up Bowe who now we can look back on realize he was shot but at the time he was a real threat. He didn't make it out of round one. Tommy Morrison met a similar fate. Even at the end of his career he fought Vitali who was a big, strong and highly decorated amateur.

Compared to the clown we have today ( Fury) it's not even close. Lewis is truly one of the best ever. He fought boxers, punchers, big guys, fast guys etc. The only guys I wish he would have fought was some soutpaws. He went nowhere near Moorer or Sanders.

Top 5 wins based on their names.

    Mike Tyson
    Evander Holyfield
    Vitali Klitschko
    Ray Mercer
    David Tua

Although if you're basing on the form or ranking they were actually in going into a fight with Lewis i think these names could make the list.

    Razor Ruddock
    Andrew Golota
    Tony Tucker

I always thought Michael Grant was a grossly underrated win for Lewis. Not only was the guy a giant in size but he was 30-0 and built that record by taking on some high risk-low reward opponents like Golata, Purity, Butler, Savarese and Gonzalez. Yes, he was slow and lacking in fundamentals but he was hardly a bum

It really was especially at the time. Grant was getting a huge push from HBO and a lot of the boxing press was touting him as the next great American heavyweight. Lewis went right after him just like he did Golota and Morrison. When Lewis fought Tony Tucker, Tucker had only one loss at that was to a prime Tyson. Lewis was the type of champ that didn't duck anyone

I agree. I had Tucker on my list instead if Tyson because Tyson was pretty much shot when they fought and Tucker was still very good and very avoided.

If going solely by name i'd have Weaver above Tua or Mercer probably.

    Official wins:

    Vitali
    Holyfield 2
    Ruddock
    Golota
    Tucker

Unofficially, on fair score cards, replace either Ruddock, Golota or Tucker with Holyfield 1.

I've also no problem with any of Ruddock, Golota or Tucker being replaced with any of Mercer, Briggs, Tua, Rahman, Grant, Bruno or Morrison.

It's a decent resume when you can swap 7 or so names in and out and still have a defendable list.

Tyson an Holyfield are by far the biggest names on the canadians resume but Holyfield was 37 an Tyson was 36. True Lewis was no spring chicken himself when he fought them but clearly didn’t have the wear an tear that the other 2 had accumulated by that stage of their careers.

My top 5 Lewis wins would be

    Ruddock
    Vitali
    Morrison
    Tua
    Mercer

I'd still rank past prime Holyfield over that extremely fat version of Tua, and the versions of Ruddock and Morrison that Lewis has beaten.

Yes, Holyfield didn't have the speed and stamina he had in his prime, but skills were still there, and his boxing IQ was higher than Ruddock, Morrison and Tua's combined.

I agree on Tyson though. He was beyond shot when he fought Lewis, he wouldn't be in my top 10 list of Lennox best wins

Ironically I would probably put Holyfield I at the top of the list, if the decision had gone Lewis's way.

    With that having been said:

    1. Holyfield II
    2. Vitally
    3. Ruddock
    4. Rahman II (I would probably have it at 3 if Lewis wasn't avenging his own loss)
    5. Tua

I honestly think Lewis has one of the better resumes when you take in consideration all of the different styles of fighters he beat and the way he took on guys when they were at there best or perceived as dangerous. The only thing missing was fights with southpaws but in his defense there was really only Moorer and Sanders and both of those guys had consistency issues.
