Good match up has all the makings to be an entertaining fight. Munguia might be catching him at the right time but if Ryder is up for it he has all the tools to win it.

Does Roach still have what it takes to change Jaime for the better at this point in both of their careers?

This is a bad idea for Jaime
I think Ryder could take him out…

I think Munguia has improved over his past couple fights. I normally hate on him but comparing his fight against Derevyanchenko to when he won his title at 154 it's a clear difference. Munguia has fought a good string of contenders and tough gatekeepers, Nobody elite, but everyone he has fought has had enough to keep a good fighter on their toes. Derevy gave that fight away but Munguia wasn't that bad.

    War Ryder.

    Jacobs, Parker, Canelo, Munguia.

    What a run.

John Ryder is a top lad and deserves all these chances as he has name value now as he takes the fights that he could lose and sometimes/usually does but when he fought Canelo he showed he is game as a badger and the talk that went with his performance shows even if you lose your stock can rise.
He has fought plenty of top level fighters and deserves all the paydays he is scooping up now.

Man Munguia needs to go for the bigger challenges instead of another one of these types of fights,

i wonder if it's him or his team that just don't have full confidence in him to win those big fights as he is a great fighter & doesn't ever quit, he also needs to be way more active that will keep him more sharp.

Carries on for a few more years and he'll end up with a Cobraesque resume......almost.

This fight has WAR written all over it, I think Munguia wins by late stoppage. Ryder is too tough for his own good.
