Redemption day is now here lads!

I'm a huge, huge Joyce fan but I luv Zhang too. Both are a couple of very likable no nonsense, no bullshite fighters that will fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. A REAL breath of fresh air in the current heavyweight division. They both should be loudly applauded for the solid & genuine characters that they both are....

I felt Joyce was starting to turn things around in the first fight and had he not suffered the eye injury ( I know, 'if'..) I felt he would have gained momentum down the straight and would have had a close points win as I feel Zhang would have gassed out by the 10th.

I think even with just some very, very basic defensive adjustments that 'should' be enough for Joyce to win this time around.

Joyce will definitely get caught again for sure, and I'm sure there will be drama and fireworks early doors but I'm hoping Joyce weathers the storm and comes on strong and fast as the fight progresses and his fantastic engine and workrate kicks in. We'll see....

Even though I'm rooting for Joyce big time here, no question about that, I'm sincere in saying ' let the best man win'

I think it's gonna be an absolute cracker tonight, lads. We're all in for a treat....

Been looking forward to this one :aplastao: I think if Zhang lands the big straight left a few times Joyce's eye will get busted up again, can't see him lasting 12 rounds if that happens. Joyce needs to be really careful in the early rounds. I think Zhang will stop him again, i'm rooting for Joyce though.

I don’t think Joyce knows any other way to approach / engage.

For all Big Bang's superior skill and power and Big Joe's porous defence, Big Joe was never dropped, badly hurt, in big trouble and in danger of getting knocked out in the first fight from my recollection of it.

Yes he was alarmingly easy to hit, got caught with way too many big shots, was buzzed numerous times and even hurt a bit one time IIRC but he was able to take the shots well.

If he doesn't abandon his slickness this time and can utilize it to avoid getting hit as much and avoid sustaining another eye injury there's a good chance he can avenge his loss.

Theoretically the added weight should increase his punch resistance and power so that should be a factor too.

That being said, Big Bang has come in almost 10lbs heavier than last time and he claims he's hitting much harder and has better stamina now after enlisting the services of a new S&C coach. I'm not sure if I believe that but chances are we'll find out tonight if it is the case. If it is that's a big problem for Big Joe.

But obviously the most important factor here is that Big Joe's slow-fast speed is on point this time and one cannot overemphasize how paramount that is.

I'm really on the fence with this one. My head and commonsense tells me that Big Bang should be able to repeat the trick and I favour him to do so. However, the first fight was just about to enter the territory which favoured Big Joe when the ref waved it off and if he can navigate his way into it this time it will be interesting to see what happens and how Big Bangs deals with it. Big Bang might just be able to keep landing with ease with his bombs until he knocks Big Joe out legitimately or he might start to gas and get drowned by Big Joe's work rate in the back half of the fight.

I really like both Joyce and Zhang. Both true warriors and have got this rematch arranged quickly with little fuss. Both honest hard working pros.

Showing up that fat diva Tiresome Fury.

If Joyce can defend the left straight he’ll win but I feel like that’s easier said than done.

Zhilei survive without very big problem war with Hrgovic who throw 700 punches in their fight. More dynamics punch than Joyce.
12 rounds. Its not easy to finish this Giant.

Zhang also got this comfort that he do more damage working less. Joyce volume dont do damage to him in first fight.

I do not agre with opinion above that Joyce dont was heart on last fight. He was pretty damn solid wobbled in round 2. He feel this power at round 1 too and u can see this.
I do not agre to with opinion that Joyce start to taking control in last fight. Zhang just can take the time and he knew that even if he throw less punches than busy Joyce its still his punches the one making difference and do the job.

Joe can winning on points for sure but his punches not have dynamics to heart Zhilei special when he is focus to throw bunch of them. Zhilei style is more economic but also more destructive.
He will be agresive at begining and I dont think it will be easy to Joe to survive without wounds to second part of the fight.

Looking forward to the main event, but my god this undercard is poison. And far too many fights for that starting time.

Big Joe is ultimately a urination fighter albeit quite a unique one. If he gets into his rhythm, figuratively speaking, he'll urinate all over you and it's nigh on impossible to avoid getting drenched once his stream starts flowing.

Big Bang was able to prevent Big Joe, figuratively speaking again, from unzipping his fly and soaking him but if he cannot get Big Joe out of there in the first half of the fight this time he could end up getting soaked to the bone as if he'd been swimming in the Yangtze River for hours.
