If Joyce can't move his head he is going to get hammered like last time. Even granite chins have a limit and it is just not possible to take that kind of continuous punishment. The problem is head movement is a fundamental skill so he I'd say his best chance is getting to Zhang first with that extra 30 pounds of muscle.

I see Joyce getting completely destroyed in a career ending way, Zhang hits hard and can avoid Joyce's punches.

Good luck to both and hope that there are no lasting injuries or damage.

Actually it's unbelievable that you think Joe Joyce has a team around him telling him how to pass random drugs tests during a 4 month period. You probably believe the earth is flat too.

Muhahhahaha all of the top athletes have top doctors and they know how to pass all of tests easily.
And yeah of course he knows how to pass tests.

It's humanly impossible to gain that much weight of functional muscle mass in such a short time. It's going to be even a hard time go gain like 30-40% functional muscle mass in that time, and the rest been fat and water, forget in Joyce case where it looks like it's more like 60-70-80% in functional muscle mass.

You obviously have no f**** idea how body works and how things are in combat sports.

I have been training my whole life, have done Peds in the past, know how they works(most of them), and absolutely know the difference in gaining/losing weight with or without Peds.
Also have been working with nutritionists and strength and conditioning trainers, using Don Heatrick periodization program as well.
And i have been HW pretty much most of my time. By saying HW i mean in terms of weight.

Also there is a huge difference in gaining weight from let's say:

From 180 to 200 or 220, and do that from 255 to 280 and so on. Actually HUGE Difference.

Zhang needs to win by KO, it's a corrupt sport. He will try going for the eye but not sure if he has a plan B, Joyce has a good chin.

Heavyweight boxing in the year 2023,,,,I suppose the Big Show will get the winner since he's 7 feet 400 pounds, it can be on the undercard of Fury and Brock Lesnar ppv.

P.S. a 210 pound Joe Frazier would punish both of them

Nice to see another person with their head screwed on. Most sports fans, especially combat sports fans know nothing about and care nothing about basic sports science unfortunately, so facts that would be completely uncontroversial to anyone who's done any sort of reading (let alone someone college educated in biochemistry or sports science eg) set people off. People are so uninformed, and more importantly, emotional, when it comes to basic aspects of sports science, particularly PED use that it's not possible to have even basic conversations about it without people getting upset.

Hell, people were "defending" Schwartzanegger from PED accusations until they saw him talk about them openly lol. People that know about PED's have nowhere near the amount of moral sentimentality about them as the people that don't know about PEDs do, and consequently try to project onto other people. It's like a person trying to "defend" Graham Norton from accusations of being gay and thinking they're doing him a favour lmao.

Most athletes take PED's. It's really not a big deal. You only think it's a big deal because of modern sports sponsorships forcing companies to propogandize about them. It's not a coincidence that athletes pre modern media were extremely open about their drug use, and are seemingly confused when people get sensitive about it.

    Yeah exactly.
Bro most of all "natty" youtubers, streamers, fitness influencers, etc, etc, that are claiming being natty and so on, are on heavy usage.

The most shocking one was that Liver King dude, and that there is so many m***** who was claiming he was natural. And they were all so shocked when he was exposed so badly.

I mean how little brain you got have to even consider this is possible without heavy, heavy roid usage?
I usually avoiding this type of topics but this was so obvious bro .....

M8 the Liver King situation was hilarious. Hellen Keller could have told you he wasn't natty. There is a GOAT Olympic Weightlifter called Liu Xiaojun, who a lot of casual fans thought was natty until they saw what he looked like off cycle lmao. They were devastated. Most weightlifting fans didn't care thankfully because they're a community that's intelligent and knowledgeable about drug use.

A combination of scientific ignorance, propoganda and Hollywood have left most people with no ****ing clue what's naturally attainable. Like I said people thought ****ing Arnold was natty until he very casually and non controversially said he wasn't. Larry Wheels casually talked about taking lower dosages and people were like "what do you mean lower dose? I thought you were natty? Lol. That's what I mean, it's not even like these people made dramatic videos about it. PED's are so normalized in the fitness industry that when an honest influencer casually mentions their drug use, they are shocked that people are shocked hahaha. Hell, people think Thor ****ing Bjornson is natty and have "defended him", when he's already talked about his PED use before. Again, it's like someone saying "How dare you accuse Freddie Mercury of being an evil gay". It's so annoying when people project their (ignorance induced) morals about PEDs onto everyone else.

Reminds me of a, to be fair, very pleasant and good poster that I had a conversation with about this before. After I said 99% of top level athletes take PED's they said to me "are you saying that all athletes are immoral cheaters and liars?" And I was like bro what? Why the emotionally loaded language? Are YOU saying that athletes are immoral? Because I'm not saying that all. I don't think it's immoral at all.

I think this puritanical attitude among so many sports fans to PED use is rooted in the "Winners Don't Do Drugs" campaigns of the 80s that promoted overtly juicing athletes as these unimpeachable role models of hard work and dedication. It ended up raising a generation of kids believing a complete lie, and even when that lie has been well and truly exposed there are still those who cling to it, hence the overly emotional responses you hear, since in their minds any 'accusations' of PED usage are impugning the athlete's very moral bedrock and painting them out to be some sort of loser that can't hack it the natural way.

There are also so many unscrupulous conmen in the fitness industry preying on people's gullibility in this matter who skew the line between what's possible and what's obviously chemically enhanced. So even if you see a guy like Joshua who's obviously juiced to the gills (and I'm a fan of Joshua FWIW) you'll still have people defending him with the old "innocent until proven guilty", "he's never failed a test", "you're just jealous because you can't achieve a tenth of what he's achieved" emotional stuff, as if by bringing this up you're personally attacking the man and trying to drag down all his achievements.

Re: boxing the only time I really get annoyed with stuff like this is when fighters themselves try to paint other fighters as drug cheats as if they're squeaky clean. Mayweather is a prime example. Their idiotic fanboys I can (somewhat) excuse, because they haven't got a brain in their heads and just parrot whatever the fighter they follow says, but the fighters themselves who know full well what goes on behind the curtain and partake in it as well, yeah, **** those hypocritical ********.

Liu Xiaojun went from looking like

    This

    And This

    To Looking Like This

    And This

And his fanboys denied that this was a clear sign of being off cycle, and just said it's what he looks like before he's started working out without his pump lmao. The Triple Olympic Gold Medalist and 38 year old Liu Xiaojun proceeded to retroactively test positive for PED's for the first time in his career a few weeks after these pictures of him being off cycle were shown lol.

Hell one of the most successful Olympic weightlifting coaches of all time said that he literally doesn't understand why you'd weightlift without PED's and that the two go together like coffee and cream. Imagine a hypothetical scenario where it was on public record that Cuz D'amato or Emanuel Steward said "I don't understand why you'd box professionally without performance enhancing drugs" and there were still people who believed if the likes of Mike Tyson or Wladmir Klitschko were clean lol.

Tyson Fury accused Usyk of being on PED's when he's literally on record of having failed a drug test lol. It's also worth noting that the drug he got popped for he blamed on tainted boar meat, despite the fact the drug isn't even orally active. This means that he could have literally eaten a tonne of tainted boar meat and he wouldn't have popped. So he was caught red handed and is still throwing shade at others.

Ditto with Mayweather, who's punk ass was RETROACTIVELY cleared by VADA of doping via IV's for, and I quote, "recreational purposes". Cheeky recreational smoke, cheeky recreational drink, cheeky recreational intravenous liquid transfusion, as ya do. Yet he still has the gaul to call other people drug cheats.
