Zhang, unlike Wilder, is not a one-hitter-quitter, he's a technician. I think Usyk and Sanchez can beat him. Hrgovic was also very effective.
I think Fury and Uysk's movement would expose his poor movement and out box him. Wilder vs Zhang would be a fun fight but that's about as likely as Wilder breaking the squat world record, lol. Joshua did beat him in the Olympics without too much difficulty. But not sure Joshua is mentally right to take the kind of shots Zhang is unloading, we could see Zhang sparking out another Brit if that fight happens. In hindsight Hrgovic's chin must be granite, as hurt as he was vs Zhang he was never taken out like Joyce was. I think Hrgovic beats Zhang again if they fight.
I don't know if he could land flush on Usyk. Usyk would take him into championship rounds and out point him.
Hrgovic was never hurt, even slightly, in his extensive amateur and WSB career. So yes, his chin is granite. And he was still dropped and seriously hurt vs Zhang, which shows how tremendous power Chinese giant has. In both hands
Zhang isn't really a body puncher so that's a plus for Usyk, but Zhang wouldn't be tentative like Joshua plus he's a Southpaw and throws straighter punches than Joshua so it would be interesting.
Think Zhang would ko Wilder, Usyk and Joshua. Don't know what is left in Fury. hope these fight are made. will enjoy any and all of them immensely.
I'd be amazed if anyone in the top 10 fights Zhang now. If that fat greedy ******* wasn't holding the wbc hostage then maybe we get Zhang V Wilder or something but it's not happening.
Fury would duck him and let usyk deal with him and hope he loses. Usyk would dance rings around him leave zhang chasing shadows. Zhang is a very good boxer, fast hands but he is 40 years old and 20 stone there is no way he should be beating great movers like fury or usyk.
1. Fury 2. Wilder 3. Usyk 4. Zhang 5. Joshua For me right now. I would not be surprised if Zhang beats any of these guys though. Zhang might very well become champion. If China wants some boxing glory they better start going into their pockets and pull some money out to make a title fight happen. Zhang has deserved it the right way and the hard way.
Usyk 80% Fury 65% Hrgovic 60% Sanchez 60% Joshua 55% Bakole 50% Wilder 50% All quicker boxer with good skills can outbox him because he is "lazy in the ring" Punchers can try take him out. For sure most hard fight will be for him with someone like Usyk. Quick, active like mosquito in summer and very high boxing IQ with good punch resistans
All the speculations are nice, but given the state of the HW div. does Zhang likely even face 2 of the following: Fury, Wilder, Usyk, Joshua?? One I can see, two is pushing it, and three is very unlikely. I hope we see ZZ face more than one of those HWs. At 40 time is not on his side.
