How would Zhang Vs Fury play out

Fury will never fight another top 10 boxer. He will retire with an 'insurmountable injury' of his own imagining in an attempt to save face.

 

Fury might have to drown him in deep water.
The greedy whale is the most comfortable in deep waters out of all the top Heavyweights

 

You never really know with Fury. He could put on a masterclass and box a near shutout, or he could look out of shape, struggle a lot, get put on his arse etc, although I think even in scenario 2 he probably still pulls off the win.

 

Easy Zhang KO. He is absolutely all wrong for Fury. Fury still have nightmares from Otto Wallin, a fight he should have lost via TKO.
And Walling busted him badly, and rocked him in the 12. Zhang will sleep him badly !!!

 

Any time a new HW contender presents himself:

He can beat fury !

Because they all can beat him. Fury just doesn't fight anybody noticable.

 

Lot of movement, angles, potshotting, and smothering. Take what rounds you can early on, cement the advantage later on.

Hrgovic already laid out the obvious blueprint and I reckon both Fury and Usyk can replicate and upgrade on that. They have to enter the dragon's cave whilst doing so though.

Zhang has one win on his record over a “name” and that is Joyce although tbf I did think he had done enough to get the nod over Hrgovic also,and now in good old Boxing Forum tradition as always after every top level Heavyweight fight there will be countless fantasy match up threads,H2H matchups as well as current match up threads all with how Zhang will beat everybody ! Lets get real here two wins over the painfully slow,predictable and very basic Joyce whose toughness also seems to have left him and also unbelievably came in way heavier than the first fight has imo elevated him to look better than he actually is. Should Zhang be able to beat a Wilder a Fury a Joshua or Usyk then we will start talking ! If Zhang and his team have any sense they will wait to fight the WBO champion who ever that may be when the time comes,tbh I’m not sure what mandatory fight Usyk has next as to when Zhang would get his shot.

 

Funny enough it's Hrgovic next for Usyk.
