You can mark my words that Fury will duck Zhang and will come with another b.c. excuses as usual.
But let's see if Fury is the guy some people on here act he is.
Funny how Fury is ducking every single live body and top Boxer in the division, yet some people on here thinks he will beat them all.
If he was so good, he would surely fighting top dogs, not the likes of Chisora, and 0-0 Ngannou, right?

You can mark this post, and comeback later to it. Fury will duck Zhang. But there is one man that will not duck him, and will do his job as a Real Undisputed HW Champion of the World, and that is Oleksandr Usyk.
The fight will be in China in 2024 and will be huge. Mark my words that Usyk next 2 fights are going to be Hrgovic and Zhang.
The absolutely top dogs in the division, while Fury is fighting nobodies defending his paper belt.

Just a quick reminder, and to all the people saying Fury will somehow magically fight and win against Zhang:

    Fury opponents since his return:
    Sefer Seferi
    Pianeta
    Wilder
    Tom Schwarz
    Otto Wallin
    Wilder x2
    Whyte(Koed brutally by Povetkin prior)
    100 years old Chisora
    Ngannou

Based on what exactly Fury is going to fight a monster like Zhang, who can not just punch, but can box quite well as well?

Going to be entertaining to watch the ever declining number of Fury stalwarts defending his duck this time and how he will motivate it. Probably with Zhang being a foreigner and unknown. And since Joshua is apparently "so easy to beat" I guess it will be Chisora or Whyte if he ever chooses to fight an actual boxer again. :)

If he makes an actual effort at something even resembling a proper fight Ruiz could be the choice or Wilder a fourth time or maybe Ortiz. Or perhaps what's left of Joyce or AJ.

If he doesn't man up and take on Usyk, I don't think he'll fancy the other live bodies, Zhang and Hrgovic, in the division either.

And a southpaw to boot. We saw how that worked the last time.

Fury is going nowhere near him, I reckon. If he chooses to fight a name boxer, it will probably be someone on the slide like Joyce, Joshua or Ortiz or someone who's a perfect stylistic match for him like Ruiz. He might even try to sell a fourth with Wilder.

When Warren was asked about Zhang's next fight, when asked about Fury he would not even mention Fury and Zhang in the same sentence.

Definitely, Zhang vs Fury and Usyk vs Fury are two fights that will never happen.

Once Fury has delt with the wrestler in his exhibition match, then he will be looking for a low tier HW to come back against. Something around the Schwarz or Wallin mark.

Well, Fury certainly can't make the "puny middleweight" excuse.

Plus I'm sure Fury is on record stating that Joyce was the 2nd best HW after him when Joyce smoked Parker.

Fury v Zhang in China is surely lucrative as well

Going to be interesting to see how he worms his way away from it.

Although, it's possible Fury might prefer Zhang to Usyk - getting sparked by a 20st behemoth might sit better with him in the public eye than being clowned by a midget!

Fury won't fight anyone of the top guys.
Just look at his shape. There is no comeback from that shape. This is the reason he is fighting guys like Chisora and Ngannou. His body just can't take more abuse.
Even if he gets himself in the decent shape his physical attributes will be declined by a lot.

It's one thing to change at 30-32 years, and completely different story to do it at 35 years old, when you have been abusing your body your whole career.

Anyone who thinks Fury has any chance against Zhang is delusional. Fury will just every excuse in the book.

Zhang is actually move very well, and it's super fast, especially his left hand. He is huge, and Fury won't be able to grab hold on him. He won't be able to bully Zhang and will get caught pretty fast.

Being that fat affects your movement heavily, and especially your upper body movement.
There is a reason he is fighting Chisora and Ngannou.

Maybe he's too declined now, even if he according to himself has come back from being more overweight, but of course also younger then. Maybe.

I don't believe that's the reason he's ducking Usyk, though. It's been a theme throughout his career to steer clear of dangerous opposition. Next after Wilder and 39-year old Wlad, a declining Whyte with no chin left is his most dangerous opponent during his long career. That's by design, not accident.

He looked fine against Whyte and Chisora. That he choose to get hog fat while lying about being in camp instead of facing Usyk was very much his choice.

To be fair i don't think he looked specifically great against Whyte and Chisora. Slow pace, his movement was nothing to talk about, same as his speed. He was also clinching in every opportunity, which is what Wladimir Klitschko started doing when he was 38+.
Which just indicates 1 thing his energy/cardio is gone.
You could see a huge drop in Klitschko pace thrown/land punches, which was for obvious reason.

You should also factor that Chisora was beyond shot to s****, and Whyte chin was completely shattered(what was left after AJ break it) by Povetkin a fight prior.

Tiresome will respond with some childish knickname for Zhang , say he's not worthy of fighting Fury and then proceed to fight MMA fighters or YouTube celebs.

Whatever you might say about Whyte and Chisora at that time, they were better than Hammer, Seferi and Schwartz, quite probably than Wallin too. He didn't keep a fast pace against those guy either. Fury has looked pretty much as usual in his last two fights, managing the pace and keeping it low risk. Even his weight for those fights, in the 260's, is pretty standard for him.

Nah, he was in a good place to fight Usyk after Chisora, but just wanted no part of him.

To be fair Fury will 100% looks bad if he doesn't fight either Usyk or Zhang. There is no defense if he ducks Zhang too.

Remember that he have used the excuses not to fight Zhang, as Joyce had a rematch clause. And Warren and Bob have said they wanted to fight Zhang.
Zhang calls him now, and nothing stops that fight now.

Fury will either have another huge ducks on his record, or will have to fight the Chinese killer.

Yes, this could shame him into taking on either Usyk or Zhang. Even his most fanatical fan boys here will have a hard time excusing him of ducking both. And Fury does care about his legacy, about what guys like Joe Rogan is saying about him.

Being called out by a guy who's just iced someone as massive as Joyce and not taking it will be just about impossible to defend, at least in the short term (Dempsey is till being defended despite ducking Greb and Wills). He might well go the usual route and make impossible demands, though, and claim the other guy doesn't want it.

Not just that, as Fury was saying Joyce is clear number 2, and he wants to fights him too. That was before Zhang iced him though.

But we all know the Fury didn't wanted any part of Zhang, and just used his name, as many other names as excuse to fight Ngannou.
They made the excuse with the rematch clause, but Sporting Icons exposed Fury with his deleted "game changer" Tweet and when he thanks the Saudi guy and a big announcement back in February, and that's the date when the Ngannou fight was signed.
The big fat orc messed it badly with that tweet and take it down straight away, but some people took a screenshot.

That tells you everything you needs to know. He was wasting Usyk time, AJ time, Zhang time, everyone times, as he already have signed the Ngannou fight back in February.

I'm just curious for the excuses Frank and Fury will do.
I think they will try to control Zhang and spins it that he wants Usyk. But Zhang calls Fury out for like 10th time already, and he clearly wants Fury, not Usyk next.
