Harder puncher: Wilder or Zhang?

Best single puncher is Wilder hes knocked down everyone hes ever fought, and has the most one punch KO's of any Heavyweight.

But Zhang has power in his right hand and not just his left hand, and is also a more accurate puncher than Wilder overall.

 

I think there are different types of punching power and at over 20 stone the way he delivers his punches Zhang has the greater thudding power but Wilder has much more speed and snap.

I’d probably favour Wilder if they boxed.

 

Probably Wilder, but what I will say is that Zhang's KO of Joyce is far more impressive than any feat of power Wilder has ever shown.

 

I mean Zhang K.O. Joe Joyce, who did Wilder K.O., journeyman. Wilder has no resume and his only win is Luis Ortiz.

 

Joyce is a much harder target to crack than anybody that Wilder tried to put away.

 

Wilder with the straight right is probably more powerful but Zhang carries brutal KO power with both hands and has way better punch selection.

 

Wilder hits harder with his right hand than Zhang, and harder than anyone in this era (since Tyson Fury's win over Wlad) of boxing.

Everyone has huge power until they step up to elite level. It's not just about chins, better fighters can avoid the big shots and ride with them so much harder to KO them.

 

Zhang and not close. He has already twice stopped a better opponent than Wilder ever has.

I will say though that some of Zhang's "power" comes from the southpaw style. They don't see the punches coming.

 

Wilder's right hand lands the hardest in the division. But Zhang sure has bang and in both hands too.

 

There is completely different kind of power, when it's come to. So it's hard to compare. But Wilder never face, neither didn't want to face a legit Iron chinned warrior, so there is huge question mark over his power.
Over Zhang there is none as Joyce chin was legendary.

 

Wilder. Let's not get carried away here. Zhang can punch, but Hrgovic took some if his best without coming close to be being KO'd and he threw the kitchen sink at Joyce in their first fight without putting him down. I can't see either of them standing up to that many clean shots from Wilder.
