Zhang is a decent fighter but honestly, the carry on in here is laughable. Joe Joyce, who is not actually very good, literally stood in front of Zhang inviting the big Chinese to turn the lights out. Mike Tyson ain't standing in front of Zhang or anybody else for that matter. Tyson by early KO. *I see the "post prison" caveat to the post...in that case it's a tough fight to pick. Pre-prison, Mike KO's Zhang with not much effort.
Tyson is basically a mythical figure at this point. He never KO'd anyone that size, let alone with the skill of Zhang. I think Zhang would struggle to land on Tyson for quite a bit, and Zhang would be out of Tyson's strike zone and be able to take plenty of hits. Then Tyson would slow down, his head would stop moving and he'd become a sitting target. Then Zhang would finally land some combinations and destroy him. That's how it plays out with young Tyson too. Just a reminder to Muricans that Tyson isn't actually a god, even though you worship him. The 70IQ ****** and drug addict is also a small roided HW, coming in at 5'10. Zhang is utterly massive in comparison, and has more power and a better chin. In Murican bedtime fantasies, Tyson just KO's everyone in front of him with his magical powers. In the real world he never faced skilled SHW's he could actually beat and was also a gasser and a quitter.
Yeah, there's two very different fighters there. Early Tyson simply walks up to Zhang and chins him. End of fight. Post-prison Tyson...well your post makes a lot of sense.
Is this the same Zhang that only fights in bursts and gasses out after 5 rounds? Yeah, he beats a ferocious and very mobile Mike Tyson(!)
You see this is where nostalgia lens comes into play. After 3-4 rounds Tyson was very static in terms of foot movement .. his head movement was very good but he did get hit Not saying Tyson wouldn’t KO Zhang but he never fought anyone as big and skilled. He got rocked by Bruno and likes of a one handed Olympian pre-prison (forgot his name)
It really depends because post prison Iron Mike is all over the place, the Mike from the Bruno rematch would obliterate Zhang, Savarese or Golota Tyson.................eh, not so sure.
Tyson was done at the world-level once he got out of prison. His only world class win was mental midget Golota. Zhang would have beaten him after prison, by KO.
