I might be an idiot but is Canelo Charlo on Dazn UK on not ? Just saw a post on Dazn.com (UK) from 5 hrs ago and it said US TV Showtime PPV UK Tv TBA.

 

Everybody, nearly, knows Alvarez isn’t with Ed and DAZN!
His 3 fight contract is with Showtime.
I wish it was on DAZN. YouTube for me, with the usual result emblazoned across it!

 

If showtime is leaving boxing, hopefully it means pbc will be signed to someone who is more willing to have fights shown in uk

 

Would not surprise me if Munguia poleaxes Ryder. Actually I expect it.
Canelo put a career shortening beating on Ryder IMO.
Ryder probably earned good coin too.

Ryder probably less ambitious after his win fall and a bit shop worn wont be good against a big strong young Mexican warrior.
Munguia might hit harder without as much weight to cut too.

 

Remember the PBC deal with itv. I don't think they showed one show.

 

Good shout, it will be similar when he boxed Smith a few years back. Too much in the arsenal and quicker. Completely one sided.

The news about this being on DAZN was dropped by the Twitter account as shown by the OP on Monday. Not an actual news source. Nothing official has been announced from the broadcaster since. The EPG shows DAZN broadcasting a rerun of a Saudi league game when Canelo and Charlo will be in the ring.

 

If I remember correctly, they had a good run at the start of 2019. Pacman vs Broner, Spence Jr vs Garcia, Thurman vs Lopez.

 

I never pay for PPV but Spence/Crawford is one where I wouldn’t have moaned at parting with my cash to watch. 100% PPV worthy in any country/time zone

 

Ah sorry I thought we were just talking about their shows being broadcast in the UK. Never knew that re Chamberlain.

 

Not many top Matchroom shows this year in the UK.

Very disappointing 2023 on the back of a very disappointing 2-3 years.

Huge DAZN budget roared Mr Hearn when he left Sky and most of it must have ended in Team Humble's back pocket.

 

This will almost certainly show up on FITE as a ppv tomorrow or Friday, it’s always the same PBC will wait until the last minute as they will be hoping a broadcaster picks it up.

The issue is clearly PBC as unless it’s a superfight all their shows go un broadcast in the U.K., if it was Showtime’s to sell then surely they would just end up on channel 5 or Paramount + as their all effectively sister channels.
