Predict what exactly will happen in the Charlo vs Canelo fight at 168!

Charlo claims to be Iron man but will instead fight like the cowardly lion from Wizard of Oz not take any risks and be happy to lose a wide UD collect his pay check then go an celebrate with a few bottles at a male strip club.

Canelo UD. Charlo may have some moments early in the fight, but hell get gunshy once Canelo start countering up top and to the body.

I hope your right. Could you imagine Charlo's attitude if he were to win? Smh.

 

Charlo does what he always does, leads, doesn't counter, meaning Canelo will know if he backs him up, nothing much is coming back and because Charlo always leads Canelo will have plenty of opportunities to counter. It will look a bit like the Canelo/Smith fight. Canelo breaks him down stops him late if Charlo keeps trying to win, he might survive to the final bell if he decides to run and survive.

 

I just don't see Charlo throwing enough volume to beat Canelo. I think if he were able to consistently push the pace, not worry about the KO shot, but just keep the jab going consistently then he would find success. That hasn't been either Charlo Bros' style though.

What makes this fight interesting is that Charlo will finally be fighting at a weight class that suits him. Does that help his gas tank, unlock more power, or just slow him down?

The second interesting point is where Canelo is in his career. The fact is it's been two years since he impressed anyone. He should be able to stop Charlo, but he probably knows he can win by consistently landed a punch or two more and that will be much easier to do.

I think Canelo is the better fighter, so I think class wins out, but Charlo will be competitive and have some moments.

 

Trying to be optimistic, I hope Charlo accounts for himself well, and shocks the world. But the realist in me sees him with some success early on, but will be found out and countered. While very talented, Jermell can be figured out by the more seasoned and experiences vet. And can't say i've seen Jermell show the dog in adversity and rise up. Guessing an 8-4 score or even stoppage for Alvarez.
