If it's such a low risk fight then why are so many people picking Charlo to win?

I don't think you can say it's low risk when you're dealing with an Undisputed Champion. And not only an Undisputed Champion but a guy who's coming off a career defining KO. Charlo struggled with Harrison and Castaño the first time, but he emphatically beat them by KO in the rematch.

Utter crap. Harrison was winning the second fight too until he got gassed late on.

Nice job at avoiding the question too…if you are Canelo, would you prefer to fight Benevidez or Charlo (or Bivol again for that matter)? Not many people are picking Charlo at all and I look forward to seeing him get his head caved in because if Canelo takes him even half seriously then that is exactly what will happen.

Refer to the last paragraph of my pervious post.

He tried to make the Bivol fight, Bivol refused, at 175 at least. Bivol can't challenge Canelo for Undisputed at 168 due to the WBC ban on Russian fighters, so given that, I'd rather see Canelo fight Charlo and Benavidez for Undisputed first. The 3 fight PBC deal will give Bivol time to unify 175 vs Beterbiev, which could lead to a possible Canelo vs Bivol Undisputed vs Undisputed / Titles vs Title match at 168 in 2025.

It makes sense for Canelo to fight Charlo first, then the winner of the Benavidez Andrade. If you're asking me what's the easiest fight between the 3, the answer is probably Charlo, but that doesn't mean it's the easy option. Charlo isn't an easy fight, and if we're comparing Charlo and Benavidez, Charlo is better in certain areas, but stylistically Benavidez presents a difficult challenge. Who's faster? Charlo or Benavidez? I think the answer is Charlo. Who's a bigger puncher? I think the answer is Charlo. But who's more stylistically difficult? I think the answer is Benavidez. But who's the biggest threat to actually land a big shot on Canelo out of the 3? I think you'd have to say Charlo. So Charlo presents a different kind of a challenge than Benavidez or Bivol. Charlo's probably easier for Canelo to win a decision against than Benavidez or Bivol, but he's also facing the most explosive and dangerous puncher out of the 3.

Charlo looks to be a harder fight for Canelo than his last 2 fights, GGG or Ryder, so Canelo's competition seems to be increasing. What I like about him fighting Charlo now instead of Benavidez is it's resulting in Benavidez vs Andrade, which is a great fight and if Canelo and Benavidez win it will only make next year's showdown even bigger.
