Why hasn't Craig Richards had a fight since May 2022?

33 years old and had a decent career to this point then suddenly it completely stalls with almost 18 months out of action.

At 33 you would think he would want to be out and pushing for belts. Seems strange.

Anyone know what gym / trainer he is with?

That gym have whatshisface who boxes for the IBF cruiser belt on Saturday. Jai Opetaia better be careful he doesn’t come up against a 200lbs version of ‘the destroyer’ who probably couldn’t knock the skin off a rice pudding a while back and then suddenly turned into the second coming of Wayne Braithwaite.

 

Felix Cash hasn’t boxed this year either.

 

4 fight week pulls out from Cash and Richards since July 2022 (the month Benn failed his first test).

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence though. Nothing to do with them training at the Matchroom PED Gym.
