At 140 prime Hatton wrecks him. Haney does not have the fire power or heart to deal with a rampaging Hatton.

    Who has Haney beat?

He got rocked by way smaller shot Linares and Jojo Diaz. Outright lost the fight against wayyyy smaller and old Lomachenko

His handlers are trying to force a new star on us. I’m sorry but a chinny weight bully is not impressive to me

how would Haney deal with the bigger Hatton (bigger than some of Haneys opposition so far, but still smaller than Haney himself) who is a far better pressure fighter and bigger puncher than Kambosos

Hatton, Haney is no Floyd. It might turn out like Hatton vs Paulie. I think Hatton was a little past it by then though.

It's nice seeing Hatton get some respect here. The Pacquiao loss was devastating to his image, but Hatton over powered hall of famer Tszyu for the Ring magazine title, and was ranked in the top 10 pfp for a few years.

No way could Haney keep Hatton off of him. Hatton is just a bad style matchup for him.

Ricky UD, too dirty, too rugged

Only if you think Haney can get through 12 rounds.

And he ain’t getting through 12 with Ricky Hatton who was an absolute brute.

I don’t think Hatton beats Kostya Tszyu more than 2 times out of 10 but that night he was amazing. Tszyu was well past prime but not washed up, although Ricky had everything go his way before and during that fight. Still, it was a great performance and cemented his place in the sport on a global scale.

Tszyu had just destroyed Sharmba Mitchell, dropping him 4 times in 3 rounds and leaving him with a big knot on his head. Sharmba was one of the top fighters in the division at the time and had a good winning streak, he also gave Tszyu a very tough outing in their previous fight. Tszyu didnt seem past it and was ranked #3 pfp at the time. Almost everybody was saying it would be a step too far for Ricky. Tszyu was heavily favored. I was concerned for Hatton when the fight was announced. Hatton fought like a man possessed, not to be denied. What an amazing fight and an amazing win.

Lmao the hate for Haney is real. Let's look at it from this perspective, would Hatton be able to compete against prime Loma? I don't think so..Haney showed he could handle his own
