Zhang has only had 2 notable opponents from 28.

The majority of his fights have been against non world class, European level opposition.

He has slow feet and stamina issues.

    Those are the facts.

From what we’ve seen of him, there’d have been some very interesting match ups there.

But tell us why you think that his predictions would all be wrong.

What on earth has Zhang done, for you to think that all of those predictions would be wrong?

Zhang can taken into the later rounds where he runs out of gas, and his counterpunching style can be rendered ineffective by educated flow of feints, movement, and leads. Hrgovic fight already put that on display, only being supposedly close because of a rabbit punch/pull knockdown, and Filip mentally checking out at times, according to him due to the mental state after his father's death.

While hurting Joyce, brutally shutting his eye, and finding him with that perfect lead hook was extremely impressive, there are clear examples of him failing to stop fighters with who actually move their heads and know how to not get hit flush in said Hrgovic, and 6′ 0½ Andryi Rudenko. There was no big hitter in history who was not to an extent dealt with by a either defensive wizardry, or good technical skills combined with sturdy chin.

Zhang would definitely remain competitive and dangerous through the 90's, but there were too many young and dangerous operators at the time for him to avoid taking L's. Once Zhang steps in the ring with Fury or Usyk, peope will let the hype go. Weird it got this maddening in the first place, seeing how we witnessed Zhilei beaten, or with clear shortcomings.

Official Matchroom boxing You Tube channel. Well deserved unanimous decision, but I feel like people need to rewatch this and Hrgovic find to shake the Joyce I and II hype.

Lewis, Mercer, McCall, Tyson, Golota, Tua, Foreman, Tucker, motivated Douglas and Bowe, Holyfield, old Holmes, Rahman (outlasted Sanders who cracks at least as hard and arguably has faster hands). All of those I would pick to beat Zhang, with smaller or greater possibility of an upset. On the other hand I could see him beat the likes of Moorer, Cooper, Morrison, Briggs, Bruno, or Ruddock.

Lewis was only stopped by a perfect counter from McCall who had the future architect of Lennox's greatness, Emanuel Steward, in his corner. Even then, that was an unfinished product; Eddie Futch who trained Bowe around the time noted that Lewis had still chinks in his armor.
Rahman was a freak accident, with Lewis pretty much clowning himself into a knockout. Needless to say, he avenged both losses in a brutal fashion. These two aside, if you look at the list of punchers he took on, disarmed, and stopped or shut down on the scorecards, it actually gets wild:
Gary Mason, Razor Ruddock, Frank Bruno, Tommy Morrison, Shannon Briggs, Michael Grant, David Tua, the aforementioned Rahman. A massive amount of TNT. Lewis's chin wasn't iron, but it was not paper either.

Hard to tell where to place Zhang until he's had a couple more meaningful contests and a title challenge. I doubt anyone else does better against Joyce and he could possibly upset some of those 90s names.

Morrison is too chinny. Also, Zhang would outbox Tua and possibly Bowe (bad style matchup for Bowe).

It's partly because all the 'ATG's' are so overhyped.
One reason Zhang gets rated a bit is because he is huge and has been shown to have some skill, power and chin. And that would likely convert to wins over many old overhyped fighters.

Lennox Lewis - got one-punched twice, had a way worse chin than Joyce. Good chance he gets countered and doesn't wake up.
Mike Tyson - just lol. 5'10 and once he slowed down would be decked and go fumbling around for his mouthpiece or make it back to his corner then quit on the stool. He might also try to bite one of Zhang's ribs to get disqualified.
David Tua - just lol even more than Tyson. 5'9 and would be squashed.
Evander Holyfield - might get a points win running around the giant. Off the PEDs probably gets stopped.
George Foreman - too small and predictable for the style he'd try to use. How would he 'big-man' Zhang? Also easy to hit and got KO'd by featherfist Ali.

Zhang destroys Tua and Morrison, the fact that they are old school fighters does not necessarily mean that they are better...

Except it was n't, that's a myth. He was stopped twice in a career facing big punchers. The Rahman loss was more down to his carelessness and lack of focus about the fight.

That post reaks of a 20-something who's seen a few youtube clips.

Tyson has more stoppage losses than Lewis. Was his main weakness his chin as well?

And Lewis was on his feet in the McCall stoppage. If Lewis' chin was as bad as some newbies want to believe, he'd have been stopped more.
