Also would the fans be satisfied if he just beat Usyk ? Or does he need one more win against the likes of Zhang or Joshua for more filler on his resume ?

    Fury is the GOAT already

& when he comes back aged 45 and beats Foreman's record for oldest HW champ he will become all but a tale, a myth that children tell their children's children forever and eternity.

I am a Fury fan. But he needs to beat Usyk, Joshua, and Zhang to really cement his legacy as Heavyweight Kingpin.

Then he can sit at the same table as Lewis, Holyfield, Mike Tyson, etc.

    Already flawed

Any time a new challenger pops up "Fury has to beat him"

Fury will never retire if that's the case. Zhang only showed his face this year. Joyce was that same guy before Zhang. AJ was the guy before Usyk slapped him and anyone with any kind of boxing knowledge can see AJ is not on Fury's level. It's a null win. Worthless. Goods news for Fury and fans is on paper Usyk is way way better than AJ...Fury will still decimate him though and the excuses have already been laid "small and old". Yawn.

When Fury rolls through Usyk people will realize, yes this man is a beast who always rises to the occasion H2H goat and regardless of resume a top tier heavy who can hang with anyone.

Until he defeats Brazeale he is a mere gatekeeper.

He'll be right up there with some of the greatest but gotta fight & beat the best the division at the time offers. If he beat the two dangerous lefties, one a slick boxer (Usyk), and the other a crisp power puncher (Zhang) than that's a great accomplishment. He also has to take care of his countryman AJ because how can you claim anything if you haven't even fought the best your country had to offer. Regardless who's to blame, it should've happened by now.

There are also a few decent contenders out there to fight too. Fury could have done that by 35 years of age, and also he could get a lot done in a year if he stopped talking and just fought. There's money in the AJ fight, which he claims he only fights for now. He can make money and still fight the best.

I'd put him in the 10-15 range, ahead of Wlad for sure. AJ and/or Zhang scalps would be nice for a bit more depth.

Yet he ran away from old man Wlad in between enjoying wild boar nut smoothies.

I would put Fury into TOP 25.

He didn't beat anybody noticable in their prime. Not enough belt defences. Too much steroids. He didn't beat enough HoFamers. He didn't win anything in amateurs. He is ducking and aging his opponets in a weaker Era.

Ok ..... So I have to change it. Fury is TOP 30 maximum at best.

I have him somewhere between Renaldo Snipes and Greg Paige.
