Otto Wallin on Cardiff undercard

Surely Sly Sports were not planning to have Wallin v Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury on Box Office

If so dark days ahead for boxing fans

 

I certainly do not hope so and not at all after last night.

If it is to be on a Sky Box Office event then it may be the very first fight (freeview).

 

Probably chief support to Eubank Saunders.

 

Wallin could bore the leg on an Queen Anne sideboard

 

Heavyweigts have contrasting performances more tgan any other division. I wouldnt read too much into it. Wallin has already proved hes a good fighter

 

Lots of excuses for wallins performance. The main one being Ottomatic couldn’t get out of first gear.

 

Especially if Hughie puts in a better performance than Tyson. Automatic PPV for Hughie from then on.

 

I'd be surprised if Hughie did anywhere near as badly and Tyson did against Wallin.

 

Lol surely they wouldn't dare put it on the freeview broadcast........... everyone would be asleep and not buy the PPV

 

So tomorrow night Otto Wallin faces Murat Gassiev in Turkey. Gassiev was a great cruiserweight and got beat by Usyk in the WBSS final and then signed to Matchroom. He has struggled with injuries but has finally managed to become active.

I reckon Gassiev stops Wallin as long as he is healthy and fit. He looks in good shape from the weigh-in.

I’ve always said that Wallin is one of the most overrated fighters in the sport. I don’t think he’s even a top 20 heavyweight.

@Mitch87 will be eyeing up this one closely.

This will be a very good fight tomorrow and I will be checking out my local kebab shop to see what channel it is on.

 

I tipped Gassiev to be the dark horse of the division 3/4 yrs ago. Been incredibly dissapointing since. Hopefully he can finally get going tonight

 

Has anyone figured out which channel Wallin Gassiev is on in the UK?

I'm sat here on my telly flicking through the channels from one to five and I can't find anything which looks like boxing...

Edit: just kicked my telly and found a load more channels. Bizarre. I've got some russian channel which is apparently showing it on freeview in the UK? DM me for instructions on how to kick your telly.
