When you call someone out for 10 years and get your opportunity what else can we attribute not going for it and laying it on the line than fear of getting hurt?

I don't blame him. It's smart and more boxers should heed his example. He was still afraid though.

In fairness to him I thought he showed a strong guard and a great chin. Good movement considering the added weight.

Fights like these are the reason why Showtime is ditching this sport.

Benavidez and Morrell would both beat the current Canelo in my opinion.

Which is to say, GGG won all of their MW fights.

Yeah. Benavidez is the fight to make but Clenelo's three fight deal might end up being a 154 pounder (Jermello), 160 pounder (Jermallo) and a 147 pounder (Crawford) albeit all are big or huge for their respective weight classes

Benavidez has the style to beat Canelo. I just don't know if he is good enough to pull it off. I can't see it being a bad fight either way and I'd love to see it. I also don't think Canelo has slipped as much as people say. He actually looked good tonight, even if he was fighting someone not putting up any resistance.

That’s what we all saw Bud. He fought to survive. He’ll be pissing blood tomorrow.

Everyone else can see the truth. Why cannot you?

Maybe your bias over clouds your judgement.

In most cases, that's all he needs.

:risas3: Exactly. I do really like the idea of the judges not watching the fights and me being father of post-modern judging

We would get a real fight though. I can't remember the last come forward fighter that had success against Canelo. This would be a real fan friendly fight. Andrade might outbox him or put up a real stink fest. Benavidez tries though, that's all I ask.
