Otto Wallin on Cardiff undercard

Wallin just gets slagged off for no real reason, but as was shown in the Fury fight, he gave Fury all sorts of trouble which has since put him in the who needs him club, and it cause a divide with the AJ fans who tried to slag Wallin off at every opportunity to make Fury's resume look worse than what it is. Dillian Whyte did the right thing running a mile when they were meant to fight as he would have missed out on his Fury payday.

If he had better promoters, Wallin would have far more respect next to his name. Not saying he'd dominate the division or anything like that, but he'd take a lot more bigger names if given the chance to do so.

 

Hearns juniors legacy. He made it about himself so much that he created a new breed of boxing fan who are fans of a promoter first and foremost. Good (self) promotion by Hearns junior but the side effect is the type of people who lap it up are unable to assess any fight objectively because of this weird matchroom bias.

 

Exactly right. He's managed to fool people into supporting promotional companies like football teams such as matchroom.

I can't stand any of them for what it's worth.

I glimpsed over the odds for this fight a few weeks ago and Otto was 11/4 to win from what I've read(I haven't seen) he won pretty much every round

Spare a thought for Drama Show. Wallin won, DAZN stream went off after 4 rounds and he’s been banned for another 2 week.

So on Wallin, who next for him? I hope he doesn't slip back into oblivion and fights 5 nobodies over the next 3 or so years. Maybe he could fight AJ next? Or Bakole should he get past Takam.

 

your. a fantastic member mate a pleasure to converse these ideas with you first of all can you believe its been four year over that since wallin was in with fury absolutely ridiculous the man has been wanting the bigger fights whyte pulled out he ducked him and good job he did he would of lost wallin after last night he beat gassiev easy but doesnt fill me with confidence where was the killer instinct he had gassiev hurt he was like a timid fella he didnt want to hurt him where was the killer instinct hew as like london arthur
