Nope, your posts are all over place.

On one hand you say he fought smart. On the other you say you were disappointed.

One one hand you say (rightly) that Charlo called out Canelo for years. On the other he fought cautious because he was worried about Canelo’s power.

You’re all over the shop man.

Jermell never wanted the fight, but he did want that check.

The trilogy fight was far more competitive than this one. This fight was12-0 plus a knockdown. GGG arguably won the last 4 rounds with 3 other swing rounds. 7-5 was fair, boxrec fans have it 8-4. There is a big difference.

Give a Man his Flowers. I called it - Mell wasn't getting KO'd.

You don't deserve a refund, and certainly not from me. And I don't think it was a mismatch, how it played out was one of many scenarios that could have happened. If Charlo takes a different approach and comes in 162, he gives Canelo fits.

We've seen countless times when two evenly match opponents produce a more one-sided fight than people expected. See Mayweather Pacquiao. Pac fans for years were sure he would KO Mayweather or at least be competitive, but then it happened and he was completely dominated. Was Fury Wladamir a mismatch? No one thought so, many people predicted Wlad would win or that it would at least be close, but what happened, Fury dominated and won every round. I didn't hear people saying "but Wlad fought scared, he didn't come to fight". Instead it was just seen as a brilliant display of boxing by Fury. No one demand their money back after Fury dominated Wlad, and there was even demand for a rematch.

When Canelo fights, there's always something people come up with to discredit what Canelo just did. While it's fair to say that Charlo was more gunshy than expected, while he didn't come to fight, sure, but a lot of that had to do with how intimidating Canelo was, how well prepared he was, combined with Jermell coming in too heavy. That doesn't make it a mismatch, Jermell was clearly capable of being more competitive, he just chose not to let his hands go. We see this all the time in boxing, certain fighters in certain fights just for, whatever reason, don't let their hands go.

Jermell arguably won a number of rounds. Round 1 was a toss-up, Round 5 the ringside scorer gave to Charlo, there were a couple of other rounds that could conceivable have been given to Charlo. Charlo was picking off most of Canelo's shots with his gloves, and some of Canelo's shots landed on the arms. It was very similar to Canelo GGG 3 in its one-sidedness, only GGG at least stepped it up a tad more in the last 3 or 4 rounds while Jermell didn't. When Jermell did punch, at least he threw punches with conviction and actually caught Canelo with some decent shots from time to time.

Only lion there last Saturday night was Alvarez. Seems like the Charlo “Lions Only” mantra is no more.

Didn't you know, Lions are all about lateral motion, and covering up on the ropes, and dropping to a knee they get a lil woozy. Don't you know, LIONS don't get KTFO!! LIONS go the Distance against Canelo BRO!

No comparison, maybe closer to Bivol vs Canelo though, thats more the range, but Charlo got beat even worse than Canelo did.
