Beterbiev and Bivol are a bridge too far. Callum might be top 5 @ LHW but Canelo has no shot against the top 2.

It would be a stain on his career if he didnt fight Benavidez next year. Even tho he unified 168 the smart boxing fans know Benavidez and Morrell are the true other top dawgs aside from Canelo at the weight. It would be MASSIVE for his legacy if he beat both IMO. At that point I dont think JCC VS Canelo is so farfetched. But he must make fights happen.

Morrell brings absolutely nothing to the table right now.

Ginger has an excuse for all the dangerous opponents remember how he bragged after the Khan fight " Put the gloves back on I'll fight GGG at 160 right now" ROFLMAO!! When it was sanctioned he whined that he wasn't really a 160 pounder & handed back the belt . Ole Ginger tells little porkies doesn't he

Ginger was on FB bragging " No one can beat this Canelo I'm unbeatable I'll fight them all " LOL In the same post he says Crawford is not in my future. His Cheerleaders all claim Bivol, Beterbiev & Benividez are too much. Who else is there??? If only Gingers testes were as big as his mouth he just might make a real champion

Morrell would beat Clenelo. I'm putting that out there right now. That's a dangerous Cubano brother. The only unknown with him for me is his chin and whether he can take it like he can dish it out or not. If he can, Clenelo's getting absolutely battered.

I'm starting to agree with you. Unlike Charlo, Crawford is going to come with an elite game plan and fight to win. Benavidez is young, Crawford is old, let's do Crawford first.

One thing Crawford proved vs Spence is that he isn't interested in cashing out. If he's fighting he's trying to win. That's more than Charlo proved.

Now maybe Crawford is too small (though he would have a significant reach advantage), but at least we would come out of the fight knowing he lost because he was too small. It would be obvious.

After Charlo, we have no idea, because he didn't do enough to even test it. When Charlo got his jab going it didn't look bad at all, looked like he was doing good work. But he didn't stick with it.

Crawford has real skills and god gifted advantages. Does anybody think crawford wouldnt stop charlo? Charlo is a C rate fighter in comparison to crawford. The problem with people thinking canelos power will be the diff is that crawford has better timing and distance to go along with all his skills and god gifted advantages like reach speed of hand and foot. Versatility. Canelo is gonna beat anybody hes more fundamentally sound then and hasd better timing then. We already knew charlo was to sloppy offensively and to careless defensively. He knew himself. Thats why he fought the way he did. Crawford after watching that fight is supremely confident i garuntee it.

If you wanna see Canelo vs Crawford then fans should be praising Canelo for what he just did to Charlo rather than make excuses about Canelo fighting a smaller guy and all that jazz.

Could Crawford be more competitive with Canelo than Charlo was? Maybe, but Charlo has faster feet than Bud, and good blocking, while Charlo wasn't able to get a lot of offense in, he did pick off a lot of Canelo's shots and was never hurt. Crawford is slicker than Charlo but also is an easier target for Canelo to land.

I would not expect Crawford to stop Charlo. If Canelo couldn't stop Charlo why would Crawford? Now granted I'd expect Charlo to fight Bud different than he fought Canelo, he would be more willing to engage with Bud than Canelo so maybe that creates an opening for Bud but I would still expect Charlo's chin to hold up over 12 rounds.

    Please stop. LOL

You'd be the first to find an excuse to not give credit to Canelo for beating Morrell(or anyone else for that matter).

As I said, Morrell brings nothing to the table and has not done anything to deserve the peyday.

He's simply another convenient Canelo boogieman to all the haters.:deal:
