Who do you think Canelo fights next?

Well then my friend who do you think Ginger should fight next ? Don't say Benividez, Beterbiev or Bivol as Ginger has already nixed them. Now he's added Crawford to his list to avoid. Morrell could well surprise Ginger like Bivol did if he can take it like he can dish it out
Just a simple question ... Why do you label all the fans that do not absolutely adore Canelo as HATERS ??
No one hates him . For me personal I just have absolutely no respect for the way he conducts his business.

He might run faster which i doubt but as far as footwork charlo is terrible. To much bounce and off balance.. Crawford slides and is smooth, is always on balance ready to punch. Charlo is a good fighter for todays standards but dont ever compare him to crawford. Crawford has better distance, timing and range ontop of his god gifted atributes. please

 

Happened over time, it is not like Duran jumped from LW at age 36 straight to Barkley

People are letting imaginations run wild because of how 1 sided the fight against Spence was but weight classes exist for a reason & jumping from 147 to 168 at age 36 having never fought above 147 is not some walk in the park. This is a mismatch & Boxing doesn't need more of this just because Crawford wants the Canelo payday too (especially not after that farce by Charlo). Canelo should fight guys in his weight class like Benavidez or hang them up

 

The public's appetite for Canelo fighting smaller guys coming up was harmed by the way Charlo fought and how one-sided it was. Had Charlo gave him a good fight, more people would be interested in seeing Canelo vs Bud. Realistically Canelo can't go from fighting Jermell to fighting Bud next.

The logical fight to make next is Canelo vs the winner of Benavidez vs Andrade. If Canelo gets past that fight, then maybe Canelo vs Bud is a possibility. If Bud really wants to make a statement, he should fight Jermell Charlo at 154, if he beats Charlo convincingly then maybe the public would want to see him fight Canelo. But the problem is, I don't think Bud will have an easy time with Jermell Charlo, and I think if he fought Jermell, he'd struggle, possibly lose, or go life or death and then no one would think he would have any chance against Canelo after Canelo made such easy work of Charlo but yet Bud struggled with him.

That's why Bud doesn't want any part of Charlo at this point, because he knows it can only hurt his chances at fighting Canelo. But realistically that's what he needs to do to at least establish himself at 154 and show that he's significantly better than Charlo. Now Bud doesn't want Charlo because 1) he's no longer Undisputed 2) he just got thoroughly outclassed by Canelo.

Canelo Charlo made sense because Charlo was proven at 154, and is a much bigger guy than Bud. Bud is coming from much lower weights. If Bud doesn't want to fight Charlo, then maybe he could fight Keith Thurman at 154 or perhaps Tim Tszyu. Personally I think Tim Tszyu vs Bud would be an interesting fight and that would give Bud an opportunity to win a World Title at 154 without fighting Charlo. I just think Bud needs to at least get a win over a quality fighter at 154 between now and May, so that by the time Canelo vs Benavidez or Andrade happens, Bud could be in position to challenge the winner. As it stands, he's never fought above 147 and it's a big ask to go right into a Canelo fight, especially after Canelo just completely dominated Charlo the way he did.

Who cares if Crawford is old, that's his fault. What is the point of Crawford fighting for the undisputed at 168 when Crawford would not be the best challenger and won't ever fight there again? Boxing should just be a charity and pay days rather than fighters earning title shots? This is clown world and people who enable it are clowns. Crawford can wait at the end of the line or maybe fight Benavidez to earn the sport. He would never step in the ring with him. These circus fights need to stop. A firkin welter fighting for 168 undisputed, stop the insanity!

 

It's a very fair argument you make. Bud is older, Benavidez is young. So you'd want to do Canelo vs Bud as soon as possible before Bud gets any older. I get that argument, at the same time there's also an argument that Bud needs time to actually move up multiple weight classes.

Theoretically Canelo could fight Bud this December, then the winner fights the winner of Benavidez Andrade next May. I highly doubt that would happen though.

Bud could fight someone at 154, and Canelo fights Benavidez or Andrade in May, then maybe next September a Canelo Bud fight could happen. I could see why Bud wouldn't want to fight Tim or Charlo at 154, because those potentially are tough fights and could derail a possible Canelo fight next year. At the same time, Canelo fighting Benavidez in May is also a big risk and could derail a Bud fight later that year as well.

I think he might fight Spence actually. Remember, Spence walks around at 168, is the best, and was extremely drained at 147. He might even still be drained at 168.


But seriously, Canelo vs Benavidez please!!!!

 

Benavidez if he beats Andrade. If Andrade wins he'll never fight him and I think Canelo then fights Jermall (assuming he wins) or he goes back to the table to try to fight Bivol again. He ain't gonna fight Crawford, he's dealing with the fallout of some people saying Jermell was too small so no way he fights someone even smaller.

The absolute last person he'll fight though is Andrade, I think he'd give up a belt before he does

He says Canelo vs Benevidez is next in May if he gets by Andrade -
If Andrade wins there will be a rematch with Benevidez vs Andrade while
Canelo beats on Charlo in May.

If Andrade wins the rematch
Canelo will likely face Crawford - money talks & the PBC needs it now more then ever.
