Opetaia has revealed he has been reached out by Fury camp over the prospect of sparring with the Gyspy King before the the projected bout with Usyk.
Yeah, I think he was looking at heading over to assist Fury a few months ago till negations with the Usyk bout fell through, but great to read he may get another opportunity.
Opetaia has revealed his preference the fight he really wants if he beats Breidis in rematch and Billam - Smith wins his next fight is a hometown unification fight at Gosford Stadium ( 20000 ) .
Harry Garside is among 13 Australian boxers with the chance to secure their ticket to the Paris Olympics at the upcoming Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands, Nov 19th - Dec 2nd. Garside will compete in the 63.5kg division. Australia's competitors are : Men - Harry Garside, Yusuf Chothia, Charlie Senior, Shannan Davey, Callum Peters, Adrian Paoletti and Teremoana Teremoana. Women - Caitlin Parker, Monique Suraci, Tiana Echegaray, Tina Rahimi, Tyla McDonald and Marissa Williamson Pohlman.
Big news. Win gold at the Pacific Games & you've qualified for the Olympics. Massive incentive for all those selected. I like the look of the team. Harry obviously medaled at the last Olympics while Callum Peters was very unlucky not to pick one up at the World Championships earlier this year. Super Heavy Teremoana Jr I'm a big fan of so great to see him there. Just needs to crack some heads in November & he'll be on his way to the Olympics in Paris. Probably our best hope for a gold at the Olympics is Caitlin Parker in the women's. She won the final at the World Championships but had to settle for Silver when the decision went to the home country. Pretty excited about what this squad can deliver, both at the Pacific Games & at next year's Olympics. Will be following their progress with interest.
Nikita Tszyu v Dylan Biggs official for the Australian light middleweight title November 22nd Newcastle Entertainment center. It's a good fight but LOL at this being PPV I am guessing all of Nikita's fights will be PPV from now on. Hopefully the undercard is good.
i know right. I would be interesting to see the ppv numbers for Nikita's shows as I heard the show in Melb against Bomber was low. I think it was mentioned that Issac Hardman will also be on the card. And Liam Wilson and Vegas Larfield back in action in Dec.
You'll be watching, MP. As will I. They just need to stack the undercard to provide value for money. Something that often doesn't occur on overseas promotions but that No Limit does well here. If Nikita wins, I think we'll see him defending that belt a few times next year as he cleans out the local ranks. Dylan Biggs looks a likely type though so it will be interesting to see if he can get a foothold in the fight & do something.
Another No Limit Card not worthy of PPV . Isaac Hardman has said he has International opponent locked in as no Aust fighter wants to fight him. I am sure Tej Singh would relish a rematch instead more than likely another Jap or South American taxi driver.
Paulo Aokuso v Gabriel Omar Diaz 10 x 3 Austin Aokuso v Filimoni Naliva 6 x 3 Tevita Pangai Junior v Frank Amato 6 x 3 Jermaine Pangai v Nepote Dawadawa 4 x 3 Jason Taumalolo v Reagan Campbell-Gillard 3 x 2 Nelson Asofa-Solomona v Jarrod Wallace 3 x 2 Junior Paulo v Ben Hannant 3 x 2 Justin Hodges v Matt Cooper 3 x 2 Surely the worst PPV card in living memory.
Saw the promo and straight off the bat it looked horrendous. You'll see better fights in the City on a Saturday night.
Boys what's the predictions for May vs England? I'm looking forward to that fight. Undercard on Tszyu vs Mendoza next Sunday.
Cheeky May had fallen off my radar. He lost a couple and then disappeared. If he comes in in good nick I think he can win.
