Foster was a monster at 175 but I’m not counting out Pops, who could also dish it out. I need to see how Bob did against other southpaws if any remotely comparables are to be found on his ledger.

I see Johnson doing well in the fight and possibly being ahead on points until he walks into one of Foster's bombs then its lights out.

Maybe similar to the Spinks fight actually in which Johnson won all the early rounds then walked onto a shot.

I’m aware of that. Spinks knocked a lot of people out. That doesn’t mean Bob would stand up as well to Marvin’s offense nor land the big shot.

Johnson bulls him around at first and doesn't let Foster get set for the first few rounds while taking advantage of foster's crouching style and lack of experience against southpaws with left hooks and left uppercuts especially.

Foster uses his length and boxing ability to survive.

As Marvin tires, Bob gets used to Pop's roughness and sees more and more openings for a big left hook.

Ko in the mid to late-ish rounds.

Bob Foster's left hook was no joke, Mike Quarry, Chris Finnegan, and Dick Tiger certainly found that out.

Man, I couldn't think of a more gruesome match-up for poor ol' Pops.

Foster gets him at some point, maybe behind on the cards.
