That's why he's an ATG, he will be talked about for generations to come.

Even moreso than being an ATG, he is the most polarizing, most iconic boxer of the past 25 years. It really is crazy how much traffic he still generates around here.

Crawford's second best opponent in 40 fights is either Porter or Postol and his best one Spence is only marginally better than Porter

And Spence's entire claim to fame is cleaning out 147 of almost all it's career 140 pounders almost all of whom are featherfists, barely, like Crawford, having fought any legit punchers, and beating a damaged goods Brook who was more than holding his own until a vicious head clash in round 8 shattered Brook's good eye socket

Spence has literally only fought two career 147 pounder world champions his size in his entire career and he went life-and-death against them both (prior to Brook's eye injury changing the trajectory of the fight)

If Spence was damaged goods and weight drained after the car crash then so was his best ever win Brook who was coming off

    A stoppage loss

A bad beating at the hands of one of the hardest punching MWs of all time

A terrible career-threatening eye injury and gruesome surgery to repair it which entailed having his eyeball removed via his mouth (which he knew he would have to go through all over again when his other orbital socket shattered against Spence)

And back down from two divisions North after bulking up to fight at 160 against the most feared, avoided and ducked fighter in the sport.

There are lots of Spence level opponents on Floyd's CV and many better ones too. Floyd also beat a number of fighters who are better than Crawford or on a par with him and they all have way way better resumes than Crawford.

And Floyd fought many opponents who were bigger or a lot bigger than him too, this is not the case with Spence and Crawford. Granted he was very rarely at a reach disadvantage but Crawford never has been in any of his world title fights either.

He almost always had a height and/or reach advantage. I yhink only corrales at 130 had a reach advantage. More?
Guys like Paul Williams, Margarito, lara and winky at 154 would hsve been fun match ups, partially fromt that point of view since Floyd wouldnt enjoy size advantages over them.

Part of it is they have huge arms. Floyd at 72 inch reach. Crawford has 74 inch reach. Its a huge advantage and you wont often find an opponent with longer arms at that weight.

    Yeah it is. 74'' for a 135-147 pounder is obscene. Usyk has a 78'' reach and he's a CW-HW

I don't think he would be able to compete against this level of talent today imo

He does have a washed up Manny on his resume, as well as a baby, pre-clenbuterol Canelo. Other than that he has not beat any all-time greats…He was always overhyped…Padded his 50-0 with tomato cans…

Big question marks over how good Spence really is/ was? I wouldn't be surprised if he lost to most of them.

    There's a reason for that.

Floyd avoided the biggest potential challenges of his career consistently.

Jumped over 140 altogether to avoid Tszyu.

Avoided Margarito and Williams like the plague, and those were all winnable fights for Floyd that would have certainly cemented his ATG status. He would have been challenged.

He is the biggest duck perhaps ever on a world level.

No Spence/Crawford but Canelo, Cotto and Pacman

I think its safe to say he's done well for himself

One of the greatest quotes regarding Floyd, said by a sports-show host (I forget who), was “Floyd has ducked so many opponents that every time he opens his mouth you expect to hear him quack.”

ROFLMAO check Facebook Floyd is inundating them with self worshipping posts about how superior to any other fighter he was. Everyone that bothered answering ,ridiculed him, but praised Manny Pacquaio. No one starts post about Floyd these days except the nutty Floyd/Canelo groupies
