I don't think Floyd beats this Canelo Nearly as easily. These Canelo's are so different.

Would the current Canelo beat the version of Floyd from 2013?

Well let’s be honest here, Floyd made Clen agree to 152 when he was already struggling to make 154. Plus at the time Clen was too green for someone like Floyd and the experience levels were very obvious to see. Clen made a decent account of himself but he wasn’t ready for Floyd when they fought. He was too young and too inexperienced. But props to Floyd and his people for knowing this and getting Clen and his people to stupidly agree to 152.

168-175 Clenelo would do incredibly bad things to Floyd. Might even kill him in the ring.

Why is it always Canelo has the excuses ? Yet Mayweather was on the wrong side of 30 and fighting at a weightclass that isn't his best weight.

Alvarez was too slow to beat Mayweather at 154 and is even slower now. Lol at the lead footed Alvarez at any weight beating semi-prime Mayweather.

Floyd beat a drained Clenelo in a glorified sparring session. Obviously any recent version of Clen would beat the breaks off any version of Mayweather. Too big and powerful.

Canelo used the wrong fight plan vs FLoyd. Trying to outbox a master boxer was a plain stupid plan.

Floyd was also on the slide himself. There was never an optimal time for them to fight. They were basically from 2 different eras.

Canelo is far better now than he was in 2013, he`s also better than he was in his first fight v GGG.

I don’t see it. His competition has got worse but he looks even slower and throws less combinations. This version of Alvarez couldn’t hit Mayweather with a handful of rice.

You people do understand that you're comparing a Super Middleweight-Light Heavyweight to a Welterweight right ? Even at 154, the highest Floyd ever weighed at the poundage was 151 lbs. Of course Canelo would beat him, he's way too big and has certainly improved since the Floyd fight. Now, if you were to size up a prime Mayweather and make him a natural Super Middleweight, and put him against the current Canelo, Floyd would probably win as dominantly as he did in 2013.
