Might be totally wrong but surely he should get the minute rest before having another look. Great finish from wood tbf.

Usually always favour the early stoppage....but imo josh should have got the minute before assessing him again. He was winning the fight. Wood didnt have all that much left in the tank. No problem stopping the fight....at least give him the minute before deciding on it tho.

Got a feeling wood would have got that minute if the shoe was on the other foot.

 

Deffo not the worst and nowhere near the best…but is one of the most entertaining

That was a top fight, warrington way up on the cards but a great finish from Wood. So many people commenting negatively on both fighters which is so strange, you would think boxing fans on a boxing forum would enjoy watching a decent scrap!

Im glad Wood won as I don’t like Warrington, but that stoppage was diabolical. If it’s during the round with time left then fair enough, but he would have had a minutes rest. Surely any fighter deserves that?

His legs were like Ebanie Bridges at the sign of a Black and Decker and he would have landed in Leicester 10 secs later - that was a World Class Towel that night.

I was assuming he heard the bell and was looking to sit down.
I just think it’s wrong a fight is stopped when the round is ended when a fighter gets up. I could understand it if he had been taking a beating.
I don’t even like Warrington but I felt he has been hard done too there.

 

Warrington was finished when Lara pasted him 2.5 years ago.

He had a great career prior to that night.
